Hasen R. Walker

Hasen quickly typed on her phone responding to Lara's text message.

True walked into the living room while speaking on the phone with someone.

"Nah, you could pull up though." True said to the person on the phone making Hasen squint her eyes at him

"Larry and nem with me too. We pulling up right now." Hasen heard the deep voice speak on the phone, True jerked his head back with a mug on his face

"This why you never at my crib Zeddy. You always trinna invite everybody, nigga this ain't a trap house." True said shaking his head, Hasen's phone dinged catching her attention

She read the message and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

'Your mom and dad are getting divorced?' Hasen read the text message over again and tilted her head

Hasen went to her blocked list and looked over the four blocked numbers.

Hasen got up and walked to the back to get more privacy.

She clicked her father's contact, unblocking him she called him.

He answered and immediately began speaking.

"Where are you? Are you alright?" Jordan asked and Hasen stayed quiet for a minute before speaking

"I'm good. I'm with a friend." Hasen said chewing on her bottom lip nervously, she didnt understand where this rush of nervousness came from.

"Do you need money or anything?" Jordan asked and Hasen frowned starting to feel bad, he was so worried about her and she blocked him.

"Don't worry about me. Are you and momma getting a divorced?" Hasen asked raising her eyebrow and she heard her father sigh.

"Not really worried about that right now. I'm worried about you." Jordan said dismissing Hasen's question

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine. What's going on with you and momma?" Hasen said, asking her question again

"I don't agree with leaving the house without telling us your whereabouts or blocking us." Jordan spoke dismissing her question once again making Hasen huff

"Daddy- I really don't want to talk about.-" Hasen started to speak but Jordan cut her off

"What your sisters did, they want to apologize for it. I made them take accountability, for what they did to you." Jordan said

"Its always you. What did momma make them do? After I left, did momma even take up for me?" Hasen asked

"You know how your mother is, she said there must've been another reason for that fight. You know she doesn't get involved in sibling beef."

Hasen scrunched her face up at his response, she sat down on the bed for a minute and rubbed her forehead

"I never asked that. She knows what the fight was about, they started with me for something I had nothing to do with." Hasen said

"Your making excuses for her because you know she didn't defend me." Hasen said her leg bouncing up and down because of how angry was getting.

"That's not what I'm doing." Jordan said and Hasen sucked her teeth

"Then what are you doing? Tell me. Yall keep wanting to have a family talk like this is fixable. It's not. I got jumped by my two older sisters for something I had NOTHING to do with."

"Yall think all it takes is a family talk. I don't want to fucking talk. I don't even look at them as family anymore." Hasen responded

"I'm getting very tired of yall making excuses for them like they ain't 19. But when it's me everything's different." Hasen said

"Hasen it's not like that. They shouldn't have jumped you or blamed you. Your their little sister, but things happen with family Hase."

"Understand that I'm not against on how you feel about this at all. If you feel like I'm invalidating your feelings then I apologize."

"I miss my daughter though. I haven't spoken to you in a while. We can talk tomorrow, give you time to cool off for now. " Jordan said and Hasen wanted to feel bad for getting mad at him but at the same time she didn't.

She wish her mother was just as patient as her father

"Okay, I apologize for getting mad at you." Hasen responded deciding to apologize to him.

"Its all good... I'll call you tomorrow, I got to get back to work. I love you. Call me tomorrow." Jordan said quickly

"Okay, I love you too." Hasen said

"You better call me tomorrow. I'm not playing with you." Jordan said sternly

"I am, I won't forget." Hasen said and then hung up the phone

She was feeling herself on the verge of tears

If someone was to ask if she was okay, she'd start bawling right now.

"You good yo?" True asked walking in the room

Hasen started crying and True scrunched his face up.

"The fuck? What happened?" True asked

"I feel so bad." Hasen said wiping her tears but they continued to fall

She didn't know if she was crying because of the conversation with her dad or knowing that her mother took the twins side.

"Some going on with ya moms or something?" True asked sitting next to her on the bed

Hasen sucked her teeth and sighed before speaking.

"She's taking the twins side like she always do. I never expected anything different" Hasen said wiping her face

"They get babied so fucking much by her and it aggravates me. She has three kids now. Not two." Hasen said as her lip trembled, she was getting ready to burst into tears

"Stop crying." True said wiping her face then kissing her cheek

It was weird for True to see Hasen in a vulnerable state for the second time.

But he'll try his best to make her feel better.

"She probably feel like that you having two parents in your life, you don't need much attention but since Mia and Mila biologically have one they need most of her attention" True said hoping what he said made sense

"That's what I think though, shit like that is the reason most of the time. You don't deserve that though. That's childish behavior, especially from a mother" True added shaking his head

Hasen stayed quiet making True look at her

"If that's true, why did she have a third child then?" Hasen asked

"If she didn't love me the same as them, she should've aborted me." Hasen said

"Nah, nah. I'm not saying she don't love you. But it was just her, Mia and Mila before she met Jordan. So they were naturally getting the most attention since she was their only parent." True said and Hasen tilted her head

"I don't even know if that shit made sense. But I'm trying to make you feel better." True said shrugging his shoulders making Hasen smile a little bit

'At least he tried' Hasen thought.

"I love being around you." Hasen said kissing his cheek making True's heart beat rapidly

It was the first time Hasen actually said her feelings with out it being in some type of hints.
