Ancient Egypt

Louisa's p.o.v

Before any of us could say a thing to the other Renet added on to what she said "there won't be a place to plug it in for almost two millennia. Very not cold" with that we start walking and I kept my head down, Donnie and April helped us walk a bit. That's when we get to this one door that's apparently blocked, so Donnie had to let go of me. I can hear some of them groaning before Leo says "put your shell into it, boys" "that's a new one" Sam joked. This got me to roll my eyes softly before I see that there's now a little dark tunnel.

Casey realized it first as he used his speed and went through, so I follow except I didn't use my speed since I feel lazy right now. "Savanti called upon an Ancient Egyptian-" Renet started and I was totally listening at first. I got sidetracked when someone kind of.. spanked me, so I shriek as I keep crawling, a bit shocked by the hit. The soft chuckle of my boyfriend got me to realize it was him that hit me and I felt my face heat up. "And send Savanti back to his time prison" Renet's words got my attention as I stand up now.

In the room I pull the hood down and rub my face a bit to calm it down "wow, a vampire blushing - now I've seen it all" April teased. I glare at her saying "you better shush before your face becomes red for a completely different reason." "You need to lay off the chocolate-marshmallow pizza, Mikey!" Raph says before he slaps Mikey. Though he didn't care as he looks around the room with Casey "woah, what's with all the graffiti?" Casey asks confused. Donnie just chuckled saying "they're hieroglyphics" I smile at this and walk around.

The pictures always amuse me, but I'd never be interested in anything more than that "Egyptians used pictures or symbols instead of letters. It's pretty fascinating" April says which made Donnie smile at her before grabbing out his t-phone. "Now to use my custom nerd-approved translator app" Donnie says before it does a few beeping sounds. I look back at him to see his smile as he looks down at his t-phone "I knew this would come in handy." "You're so much of a dork, I thought you would've known how to read this" Sam joked.

Donnie waved her off before pushing his screen "'if mortal flesh enters this tomb, the living shall die while death shall rise.'" 'Something tells me that's gonna be important' I think to myself before Mikey slaps Donnie's t-phone to the floor. "Aw, snap! A freaky curse, yo!!" Mikey says while side hugging Donnie, so Casey shakes his head "I hate curses, bros." "Don't worry, Mikey - most tombs were inscribed with warnings to not disturb the dead" Renet tries to reassure. April nods saying "yeah, but it's just superstition" Raph just smiles over at Renet for a second.

"Uh, cool - if it's all the same, can you go first? Heh, thanks" he asks while motioning his hands forward, so Renet grabbed the scepter. She holds it up a bit and light shined- I hiss with Casey as we face the other way, but then it died down. We turn back and see the group is looking around the room, Donnie's looking so happy though. My tongue slides over my teeth- fangs included- as I look at him, I use my vampire speed again. I pull him back into the first room we were in as I keep my arms around his neck, so he looks at me shocked.

I smirk at him saying "come on, Don Don~ The one bite and you could be as confident as me" I show the fangs to try and convince him more. Donnie blushed a bit before shaking his head "Louisa, as much as I love you - I shouldn't be turned. I might be needed and I wouldn't be able to hide since I don't wear clothes" he went to walk back. Though I grab his wrist before pulling him down to my height and kissed him for a second. "Okay, fiiine - let's just get back on track" I say and walk back towards the other room.

Raph screamed a bit which got me to look over at him to see he's looking at one of the hieroglyphs before sighing in relief. "Phew, looked like Rahzar for a second" Raph says while pointing a thumb back at the glyphs. I softly facepalm before Renet says "over here!" We all gather up around and look at the wall. Leo was first to ask "what is it?" April then asks "some kind of riddle?" Renet looks at them before they look at Donnie. "Donnie?" April asks as he pulls out his t-phone to decrypt the words "a riddle? Like a booby trap!?" Mikey asks scared.

Then he hung onto Renet a bit, though she starts to smile as he looks at her saying "this is a bad idea, dude!" Casey taps his chin in thought. "I agree with Mikey, yo!.. with our luck we'll be able to set one off" Casey says a bit annoyed. Donnie softly rolls his eyes saying "you guys watch too many horror movies, there are no booby traps in Egyptian pyramids." Something clicked which made me look down at who moved- Donnie set off a booby trap. Mikey gasps as both he and Casey say "I told you! What did we say!?" Part of the ceiling breaks down.

We all look up to see spikes on the ceiling as it's coming down slowly, the door is now shut and everything- my eyes widen. "If I'm reading this right, it says 'only a worthy protector shall enter'" Donnie informs us, so I facepalm. Groaning I say "that could mean anything!" Raph then adds on "we're about to be Swiss cheesed." Leo then says "thinks fast, Donnie!" I glare at Leo before building up with ice and freeze my feet in it. With that I freeze everything but my head as I have my arms up to try and hold the ceiling in place.
