Mom:Jess come on were gonna be late for church

Mom:You left them in the car like u always do,Let's go were already late
(GETS IN CAR AND DRIVES TO CHURCH)
Jess:Everyone's looking at us
Mom: Thats cause were late,now sit and be quiet
Preacher:"God said he made us in the likeness of his own image and therfore I say unto u judge not Remember if u abuse God's creation then u abuse God himself".
(Jess takes out her phone careful of her mum not to notice,She then goes to her Instagram and talks to her best friend)
Jess: We all set for tomorrow
Tasha:Girl u know I am
(Tasha who has been bestfriends with Jess since kindergarten had been accepted alongside Jess to Bridgeway college in California)
Jess:Remember bring along a sleeping bag cause the beds won't be coming till Wednesday
Tasha:Lol u know I won't
(Mom suddenly notices that I was still sitting down whilst Everyone is standing up,She realize I'd been using my phone
Mom:"Jessica Put your phone away and sing
(I stood up sang the hymn which was being sung reluctantly and then sat down.After church Mom went to talk to the preacher)
Mom: Good day Reverend James,that was a beautiful sermon
Reverend James:Thank u Barbara
(Then turning his attention to a disgruntled me)
Reverend James:Hey Jessica how are u today
(Mom calls me to attention with a wave of hands)
Jess:huh
Mom:Reverend was just asking how u were and u didn't even hear him
Reverend James:I'm sure she's just happy for college
Jess:Yeah I'm just too ecstatic
Reverend James:Goodluck out there its a tough world kiddo
Jess: Sure thing Rev
(We get in the car and drive off to my Dad's place. He was already standing outside waiting for us with a huge banner hanging over the doorway saying "Congratulations Jessica". Soon as we came down he gave me a big hug)
Dad:Hey sweetie
Jess:Dad I missed you so much
Dad:I missed u too sweetheart
Mom:That's an understatement since u don't care for anyone but yourself
Dad:Barbara can we not fight its her big day
Jess:Mom I know you and dad have your differences but today is about me
Mom: Sorry sweetie
(She talks with dad as jess goes inside)
Mom:I've got the divorce papers here with me
Dad:Really Barbara you want to do this here and now
Mom:Yes and I'm changing back to my maiden name
Dad:Whatever help me prepare for the party and i'll sign them later
Mom: sure
