Chapter One

Reader's Point of View

I was skipping school once again, not really caring about the consequences. Remembering that there was a forest near the city, I quickly walked to that direction. I didn't want to get caught by the cop that works at the school. The anxiety of the car following me got worse and worse so, I just ended up running to the forest.

Finally arriving at my destination, I started to blast my music through my phone. I started walking through the forest, humming along with the songs. I got about a mile and a half into the forest before finally stopping. I sat at the bottom of a tree, leaning my back against it. I close my eyes, not really paying attention to my surroundings.

3rd Point Of View

You ended up falling asleep listening to the music. Little did you know that a certain blue hedgehog was watching you closely. All he was doing was making sure that you were okay and also to make sure that you were not a danger to him.

Seeing that you weren't a danger to him, he walked over to you. He looked at you closely processing your features. Feeling that you were being watched, you woke up and opened your eyes. You rub your eyes to process what you were seeing. Your breath hitched and you let out scream. "AHH-!" The hedgehog covered your mouth with his hand. "Hey hey! It's okay, I won't hurt you!"

He waited till you calmed down and removed his hand. "What the hell are you!" You yelled out of fright. "I'm a hedgehog, and my name is Sonic." He explained softly, trying not to freak you out even more. You took in a deep breath and collected your thoughts. 'Its okay, I'm just casually speaking to a weird alien blue headgehog.' You let out a small sigh. "My name is Y/N, I guess it's nice to meet you.." You said softly, still trying not to freak out.

You felt a water droplet fall on your forehead. "Great it's raining." You said sarcastically. "Follow me. I'll take us somewhere dry." As he said that the raining got a lot worse. You nodded and stood up. He quickly walked to where his den was and you followed him. He slid in the hole and you did as well. You now had mud on your clothes but you didn't really care.

You looked around from where you were standing and you slightly smiled. "It's nice in here.." you said quietly. "Thanks, made it myself!" Sonic said proudly. "Wait.." Your eyes widened. "Yeah?" "Are you the 'Blue Devil' as the old man calls you?" Sonic let out a chuckle and he nodded. "Yeah, we have our fun."

Your face relaxed and you smiled. You heard the rain get worse and you let out a sigh. "This is gonna turn into a thunderstorm. I just know it." Sonic nodded, agreeing with you. "Can I sit in the beanbag?" You asked. The blue headgehog nodded with a smile. You instantly went to sit down and let out a giggle as you sunk down. "This is nice, where did you get it?" Sonic shrugged, "I just saw someone throw it out so I took it."
