fast forward a month, rose and amber were dating gwen was jealous she was just a bit sad, she really loved amber and amber didnt really know, but besides she had natalia so she should be happy right? No! she wanted her, she just wanted to hug her and never let go, but she couldn't. they were both in "happy relationships" right? that's where you're wrong. don't get me wrong, it wasnt lust or anything, and hearing about amber's past relationships made her so sad, she wanted to be perfect for amber, she tried being funnier than rose, then she realized she wasnt good enough at all, until, amber and gwen called on discord, gwen was happy to get her discord but didnt know what for. amber then got on call with gwen and natalia and explained how rose was acting with messages such as.
"gwen makes me feel insecure"
"my girlfriend hates me because of you."
"we were never friends"
gwen wasnt really sad after hearing that she didnt care all she knew is that amber was pretty upset.

the next day rose came to gwen and said "im not sure if they want to talk to me" gwen replied with "you broke up with them and blamed it on them so."
she went to amber who was crying and comforted her, soon after that gwen gave amber her chips and hugged her while she was crying, she felt so bad for amber because they deserved so much better.

The next day rose was gone, she changed schools, natalia was being clingy was ever, she kept getting mad when gwen wouldnt touch her.
gwen got so upset she broke up with natalia, her and amber were just talking gwen felt this urge to hug them but she asked first. "amber can i hug you-?"

she knew it was time, but what if she was going to get rejected, what if they werent into her, what if it was a mistake? she kept racking her brain and overthinking to the point of where she chickened out.

later in the day when they were in period 2 gwen thought about how she'd confess she was so afraid of getting rejected by them it hurt her to the core, she thought about all the ways they'd reject her either calling her ugly or saying they liked her as a friend or they were like her sister she dreaded it all it scared her to the point of considering not confessing at all, she just wanted to get it out the way so she wrote "hey amber i like someone in our class its a girl care to guess" on a sticky note and saved it up until driveline.

when they started dating everything was fine but amber became distant and tried her hardest to talk to them but they still didnt act like they did before.
gwen did nothing about it up until she had to give winnie away she was so sad about it, come to find out amber told her friends she didnt care about gwen, pretty much after that a break up spiked and it was a whole argument gwen got all her friends to cut amber off, and then eventually everything was fine amber went on a break of some sort but when she came back everyone forgave her, gwen figured she should too so she did, but she was still inlove wit her it didnt matter how dirty she did her, or how angry she was she just wanted to be hugged by her, amber made her feel safe not only that but amber was the only loveable person at the school, considering the past relationships amber went through were all about lust or they were just ass. gwen fell harder than that like out of a plane flat on your face fucking hard, it wasnt about sex, or money, or a thrill it was about the type of person amber was and about how wonderful and wanted and loved that she made gwen feel even though they knew eachother for a short bit gwen was head over heels for her, it didnt matter what amber wanted at the time gwen would give it up just for her, no friends you got it, change anything appearance wise you betcha, she just wanted to feel special in her eyes and be loved even if it wasnt genuine it didnt matter to her at the time just to hear i love you blessed her ears was it love or a downright obsession, she didnt care she just wanted to be there for amber no matter the struggle thick or thin or the damage she'd face at the time, she just wanted to be loved by her and her alone, and at the time when she gave natalia multiple chances she settled for love like that, like she was a hopeless little lovesick robot, but she eventually broke free from that she tried her hardest to change for herself she ended up focusing on her grades and trying to pass because of her absences, even though her and amber would flirt on the daily she didnt think anything of it because it because it was harmless right, it didnt matter deep down inside all she wanted was to be hugged and hear those same three hypnotizing words that she longed for from amber "I love you.."
