CHAPTER 41

10 DAYS LATER

3RD PERSON

"You're free to leave now, Mr. Sorin. I hope you have a nice day with your family and stay safe." The doctor smiled as he led Sorin, Damien, Ares, Hayden and Derek out of the hospital.

The 5 of them went in the car, the doors slamming shut after they all went in. The car ride was silent for them all. It was until rain started falling off the sky, causing Sorin to sigh silently with a hint of uncomfortableness. It was until Ares pulled Sorin closer to him.

He felt warm in Ares' arms. He was slowly melting in and leaning towards him. It was unreal...

Ares ran his rough hand on Sorin's shoulder gently, trying to give warmth and comfort which was working. He smiled at the boy who now fell asleep.

20 MINUTES LATER

"Sorin, wake up." Ares said as he slowly stroked Sorin's cheek, trying to get him to wake up. Sorin let out a weak groan before slowly opening his eyes. "Are we home..?" He whispered to Ares who nodded. "Come on, the others went in already." He said before grabbing Sorin's hand gently, leading him inside the mansion.

"SORIN!" Charlie's voice shouted. He ran towards Sorin and hugged him tightly, trying to be careful with his bullet wound. "I'm so glad you're back! I missed you so much!!" Charlie sobbed as he hugged Sorin. He slowly hugged back and started crying too.

The night was emotional but pushed it off with a nice dinner with Sorin's bestfriend, brothers and his dad. The dinner was comfortable, chatters of the four brothers and Charlie were there while Sorin and Carlos bonded together.

A FEW HOURS LATER.

Sorin looked outside of his window, watching the stars glitter. It felt nice to be home again. It just felt so, warm and fuzzy, Sorin thought. As he continued to look outside of his window, he heard his door open slowly, revealing Ares with a tea cup. "Hey Sorin. Hope you don't mind if I bring you some tea." He said gently before slowly placing the tea cup on the study table, the steam slowly disappearing after a few seconds.

"I'm glad you're back home." Ares whispered softly to Sorin who looked at Ares with a smile. "I'm glad you do..." He replied to Ares, who is also smiling. The silence was nice. It was a comfy one. The only thing that comes back from time to time was Sorin's slurping noises while he drank the tea.

"Sorin, I know you won't forgive me after what I've done to you but, I know I have to apologize. So, I'm so sorry for hurting you. I'm such a horrible person. I know I shouldn't have said those things, I know I shouldn't have done those things but, I did it anyway. I'm so sorry for not being there for you when you needed me. I was so fucking selfish and idiotic that I hadn't given the slightest care about what would happen to you but, now I realize the mistakes and I am trying to be better for you. I really don't expect for you to forgive me so I-" He was cut off by Sorin who hugged him.

"Ares, I cannot forgive you after what you have done to me, for now... But if you do give me time to adjust and try to understand, maybe I'll think about it..." Sorin whispered while cupping his cheeks, looking into his eyes.

"Of course, use as much time as you need. I'll wait for you..." Ares whispered before hugging Sorin, hiding his face in the crook of his neck.

"And if I do forgive the 4 of you, what happens then..?" He asked Ares, who said;

"We can, try to be happy. We can go to places where you want to go. We can do anything as long as you're comfy with it... We can explore. A lot more things you know... But there's one more important thing..."

"We will love you forever..."
