wow... its my first day at mushpot high. i try to look for my best friend, addy palmer. we started being friends last year, and have been inseparable ever since. i chatted with her for a bit before school started then i hurried off to first period... great. math.
i get to school 5 minutes late and rush to my first class. ugh math. worst way to start my first real day of school. when i get to class, everyone looks at me. i see one open seat next to a brunette girl.
just before the teacher, mr. marriot, starts teaching, a brunette boy walks in. he looks around for a seat and thats when i realized that the only open seat is right next to me. as the boy sits down i realize something... this boy is HOT. oh no... a crush already?!
i later find out the name the girl sitting next to me in first period is kenzie johnson. she is super smart. when we got assigned to work with a partner, she and i were assigned to be partners. we were laughing a lot and i noticed she had a gorgeous smile.
i find out that the boys name is easton haugh. we were assigned to be partners in math and we were talking an laughing the whole time. what if he likes me too? he seemed to be really flirtatious with me... and its only the first day of school!
i try not to be too flirtatious with her, because i don't want anyone, especially not her, thinking i like her. at least i get to see her every morning. she always puts me in a good mindset to start off the day. the rest of the day was boring and uneventful.
its 7 am and i have to get ready for my second day at mushpot high. after showering, i style my curtain bangs and put on a pink tank and some kinda baggy light wash jeans. i put on my pink converse along with some rings and a pearl necklace. on my way out the door i grab my favorite gray zip up and head the bus stop.
i woke up late AGAIN this morning. quickly, i throw on my dodgers shirt and a pair of black shorts. i get my shoes on and run to the bus stop. luckily, i got there just as the bus did. i was panting and out of breath when i got on. i walk towards the end of the bus and push addy palmer's feet off of the seat across from her. i sit down with her neighbor, my best friend since 2nd grade, ryan miller.
when i get on the bus, i put in my headphones and zone out the annoying kids in the back. suddenly, my phone buzzes. its a video of easton pushing her feet. should i tell her i like him? i think i should wait until im sure i like him. i text her back "LMAO is that easton?" she quickly replies, "yeah lmao he's so annoying." agree to disagree, addy.
when i get off the bus i see kenzie waiting for someone. she waves at someone behind me. i quickly realize she was waiting for addy. how could you be friends with DAVE's daughter. ryan was dating this girl named samantha ditter, but they broke up after sam's friends were making jokes about ryan. laila hazeghazam, one of sams friends made a joke about ryans parents divorce and thats when he had had enough.
i talked to addy until the bell rang, then i walked alone to math. i sit down at my seat. today mr. marriot is talking, but im not listening. im staring over at easton. mr marriot notices my lack of attention and ask me to answer the question on the board. i wasn't paying attention tho... and i told mr marriot that i didn't know the answer and i felt super embarrassed.
mr marriot asked kenzie to answer the question on the board. but when kenzie said she couldn't answer it, i was confused. even i could answer it! shes the smartest girl in class! suddenly a paper ball flew onto my desk. it was from kenzie. whats going on?
