That night I couldn't sleep, so I decided to sit by the fire and enjoy the warm night with the chill of the breeze. I watched as Glenn left, no doubt to be with Maggie. It was cute. I didn't think much of it until he returned looking paler than a ghost.

"Bad Sex?" I cringed and laughed just a little at his expense. He merely shook his head."Glenn?"

"Don't worry about it." He mumbled.

"Glenn."I went to him and gripped his shoulders,"What's wrong."

"Maggie told me not to tell- they keep walkers!."He hissed under his breath.

"What? Are you joking? Walkers?!" I whisper yelled back.

"Don't tell. They keep them locked up and safe." He pleaded with me, telling would ruin everything so I nodded. He sighed and went to his tent leaving me alone to let the information sink in.

The next morning Glenn was anything but smooth, he was jumpy and paranoid and a atrocious liar. I hoped for his sake they just brushed it off. I ate my peach as Shane, Rick and Glenn went over the plans for the search.

"Can I go today? " I asked as I pit down on the fruit in my hand.

"We'll see after gun training today."Rick nodded.

"You know I can handle myself. I'm not the one shootin' the living."I huffed and rolled my eyes earning a chuckle from the group as Beth and her mother walked over.

"We'd like to join you for gun training toady." Beth announced.

"Shane." I whispered as I nodded to Carl who was staring over here. The two of us walked over and I leaned up against the RV.

"Whatcha up to punk?" I teased.

"I want to learn how to shoot. Can you teach me Shane?"

"Now...that's up to your parents."Shane shook hi head and wiped his face.

"Can you two talk to them. They'll listen to you."The young boy pleaded his hand resting awkwardly on his hip.Shane nodded and I furrowed my brows before pulling up his shirt exposing a gun.

Lori, of course was livid when we told her. Rick,Shane ans I tried out best to calm her . I, along with Shane tried to sway her to notice how reasonable the request to learn to shoot was. However she wasn't comfortable and this was between her and Rick so I walked off and over to Carl.

"I tried my best kiddo."I sighed and sat beside him.

He mumbled a sad,"Thanks."

It was quiet enough for us to overhear his parents hushed conversation.".....he's not mature enough."

I saw it in Carl's eyes. He had a spark in his eye that I've seen a myriad of times before. Whenever Rick or Shane talked about doing their job, making a momentous arrest."I'm not going to play with it mom! I want to find Sophia, I want to protect camp and I can't do that without a gun!"

Rick was proud of his son,I could tell,"Lori. Shane is one of the best instructors . I've seen him teach kids younger than Carl."

Lori gave in, her defense had crumbled and she laid out the law to Carl who was holding back a proud grin.

Gun training was particularly dull for me, Shane had made me take a concealed weapons class just in case. At the time he had told me ' I don't want to be investigating you at the office '. I was a good shot and Shane felt it useless for me to waste the bullets after I practiced a few shots. I stood back as Andrea showed off. Shane handed her a better gun as her watched her line up with her target. I was only a few feet back so I took my aim and fired. I was only a yard behind Andrea meaning the bullet went by her and into her target. I wouldn't admit it but I did it out of jealousy. She and Shane whipped around to see me standing there a smirk on my lips as I holstered my gun,"That's how you shoot a gun."

Rick glanced over to Shane, both of them a similar look on there face. If 'Hot Damn' had a facial expression it would be that.I grinned and leaned against the truck as I watched the rest continue to practice.

Back at camp lunch was served. Canned meet and eggs, I noticed Lori covered her nose as she walked by the pan.Dale seem to have noticed it too however he was the one to follow after her. I couldn't resist temptation and I found myself eavesdropping. Lori was pregnant. I covered my mouth to stifle a gasp as I stepped back next to the frying pan. I spent the rest of the day in my tent reading one of the awful books Dale had.
