Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful princess named Ysabel. She was considered to be the most beautiful woman in all the surrounding land. With her hair of dark chocolate color, and her eyes to match, it wasn't hard to see why everyone who was anyone thought this. One day she decided to take a stroll down to the local swim hole, that her subjects swam at during the hot summer days in her gorgeous kingdom. She grabbed her swimming attire in hopes that she might take a dip, for the sun was especially hot that day. While she was walking, she took a few moments to enjoy the floral, blossoming, beautifully scented bushes and trees. They were all scattered throughout the valley and along the narrow trail leading from behind the castle down to the river that eventually connected to the water hole.
As she reached the river, she stopped suddenly, in the distance she had heard a faint, but definite cry. Curious she followed the sound through a thicket of lilac bushes until she came across a fallen log, slowly creeping around it she noticed a tiny paw poking out from underneath heavy brush. She quickly removed the branches and beneath it all, was a tiny calico kitten, covered in dog burrs, with matted fur and a little cut in between its claws. She leaned down and gently picked it up, it let out a whimper of pain, but settled into the crook of her arm. She immediately turned around with the decision to take it back to the castle to clean it up and find it a home. She was abruptly stopped by a tall, olive-skinned, handsome looking man. He was standing a little off the trail with an amused and relieved expression on his face. "I see you have found sophia" he said with a smile on his lips, bewildered and startled all she could manage to get out was a soft "ummmmm", confused, she then realized he was talking about the ball of fur in her arms. "Oh! its yours?" she finally blurted out, "yes, she is mine" he said with the smile lingering as he started walking toward her. Holding out his hand, he said "my name is Prince Monty Tannar, from the Southern Isles, and you are?"
Hesitant on revealing her identity, for fear of her safety, she decided to be honest, with a deep breath she took a step forward reaching out her hand "its a pleasure to meet you, your highness, I am Princess Ysabel of the kingdom that you are currently within". As their hands touched in a hand shake she was taken aback by how soft, and gentle, yet firm his grip was. "Well I do hope I am not being rude, your highness, but Sophia jumped out of my arms chasing a mouse and I haven't been able to find her for a half of an hour, and I would love to take her back now.........please", he said in a soft, low voice. Not looking away form his locked gaze, she she gently put the kitten in his waiting arms. As she puled away, their hands brushed, and for a moment, it was like a spark of electricity that traveled though her body all the way down to her toes. She almost jumped back, it was a sensation she had never experienced before. What she didn't know, was that he had felt the same feeling and didn't know why this stunning woman made him feel so out of his skin. Deciding she had better get on her way before she said or did anything that might make him think something inappropriate, and possibly do something that shouldn't happen. She said "Well, now that you have fund yur sophia, I must be on my way", as she started walking away he blurted out "will I ever see you again Ysabel?" amused, she turned and said with a smile "if you are who you say you are, then you will already be a guest at my fathers castle, so yes, I can say with confidence that you will see me again". With that hovering over his head, she turned back towards the trail and disappeared into the bushes, on her way t col off after that entrancing encounter.
