26. Lover's Spat

It's the end of August, a late summer sun now setting as Izuku makes his way home down city sidewalks.

He smiles in contentment as he walks, things have been going amazing in his life for once.

He likes his job, has good friends, he's spent time with his mother, got to know his boyfriend's mom, who fell in love with the greenett instantly.

Izuku chuckles as he continues down the road because that blonde woman who could be her son's twin text him almost daily to be sure Katsuki was treating him well asking if he wanted or needed anything.

In the three weeks since the visit between both parents Inko and Mitsuki had also become close friends, Izuku and Katsuki often got selfies of the two off together on some girly adventure making Katsuki roll his eyes and Izuku giggle.

And then there's the best part, his relationship with Katsuki had been going great, beyond great. They were close, and only getting closer.

Yes life was good, but life is full of unexpected bumps in the road sometimes.

The greenett is now walking into a firehouse that had almost become his second home.

He waves to a yellow eyed male at his desk who is listening to a 911 call but smiles brightly at Izuku waving back.

The greenett continues up the stairs through an open door that leads to the large lounge seeing his bestfriend immediately.

Emerald eyes meet bicolored ones and both smile.

" Hey Sho! How's it goin?"

Shoto gets up from the chair he was seated in to greet his long time friend.

" Everything is good. Good to see you Midoriya, how was your shift?"

The greenett shrugs.

" It was ok, nothing to terrible, which is good in this line of work. I did run into Touya while I was on a call he told me to give you an urgent message"

Shoto raises a brow.

" What is it, is something wrong?"

Izuku sighs heavily putting a hand on his bestfriends shoulder.

Todoroki's face now holds signs of worry.

" Sho..I really don't know how to say this but ......Touya told me to tell you that...you're a butt-munch and that he's better looking than you, oh and you owe him lunch one day next week", the greenett says his voice breaking into laughter as his face lit up with a huge grin.

Shoto rolled his eyes placing his hand over his bestfriends face shoving him away as a smile tugged.

" I hate you both, I'm texting him right now and telling him too"

This only made Izuku laugh harder as he watched his bestfriend pull out his phone walking into the other room with a grin he was trying to hide.

" Oh come on Sho that was funny!"

" Both! Hate you both!", the male called from the other room.

As the greenett stood trying to calm his playful banter the sight of his boyfriend who just came into the room wiped off the grin he was just wearing because something didn't look right.

Scarlet crimson eyes met now concerned emerald ones that had a brow raised.

Katsuki gave a half smile to his boyfriend who was moving tawrds him quickly.
