"I think that this was something good that happened. Maybe even a blessing from God. I hope I will know Jungkook for a while.
This was how I found myself falling for a stranger that just randomly appeared in my life."
-----------------------------------------------
Coming home from a very long day of work was the thing that I looked most forward to every night. Yes, I do love my job. But it gets very hard, especially when I am the only woman who works in my department. All the women who worked there previously all quit because of the supposed "terrible working environment". Give me a break. It is an office full of accountants. What could be so terrible about that? Yes, maybe the men who worked here had a big head most of the time. But even through all that and seeing how they just gave up, I decided to stay and prove them wrong. Also, to show other men that women can stay here and work just as hard as you men.
Maybe you are wondering why I became an accountant. Well, honestly, my parents were both accountants and I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. Back home, I was always that straight-A student who never had a boyfriend, and had only the same group of friends that I still talk to today. But I also always went to the school dances but never danced with any boys. I never was interested in the bad things like going out every night, partying, and getting drunk or so high that your friends have to drive you home. Then you have to explain to your parents the next day what happened to you. My parents weren't too strict. But they still had many rules that they expected me to follow as long as I was under their roof. My parents were never too thrilled with the idea of me having a boyfriend during high school. They wanted me to focus and complete my studies as successfully as I could.
Going to college I was kind of the same, but I mean I did go out sometimes. Still, I managed to get on the Dean's list every semester and graduated with a Bachelor's degree, ranking 3rd out of all of the whole class. I still didn't try dating or going out with anyone. I think that I just wasn't interested in any boys that were at my college.
Enough about me thinking about my past and getting into too much of my background. I went into my little $450 a-month apartment. Setting my keys down on the table, took my coat off and placed it on the hanging hook meant for coats. Then I went into my room and changed into some more comfortable clothes. While walking in my hallway, I thought that I heard a noise like breathing, but I just shrugged it off because it was just me and I know that for sure because I live by myself.
Then I went into my kitchen looking for some beef-flavored Ramen. Mhm, I love that flavor. It's my favorite. My mom scolds me every time she comes here because of the lack of food and groceries that I have. But I mean it's just me, so I get what can just feed me. For me, though, I don't usually eat that much. While I watch the ramen cook, I make a mental note of what time it is. Just 5:45 pm. After the ramen is done, I let it cool and then start to eat it while watching TV. I am currently watching a new K-Drama that I just got into.
Jungkook POV:
Dang, why did they have to see me? I was being careful. I looked down at the wound and saw the blood slowly coming out. Having the job as a spy for one of the top mafias in the city was no easy job. I get hurt like this a lot. But the boss doesn't care. As long as I stay alive and keep doing their job. Spying on other mafias, seeing what their plans are, getting all their information just so our mafia can attack and take them over.
As I was limping down the street, I saw this little apartment-style house. It looks like no one is here. I take my chance and get inside. I saw no one in the house. I quickly looked for a first aid kit. Then I heard a door opening downstairs.
"Crap" I breathed out.
I hear someone who sounds like a woman. This must be the owner of the house. I quickly and quietly drew my gun and prepared for an attack to get away quickly. But as I was watching her saw her face.
Dang, she is so gorgeous. Why have I never seen a woman like her before? I can't kill her, I need to save her and keep her with me. Then I realized that she was about to go upstairs. Then I ducked into the nearest room, shutting the door with zero noise. I hope she doesn't notice me. Then it hit me with blood on the floor. God, I hope she doesn't notice it.
I was also trying to control my breathing, noticing how hard I was breathing. She finally makes her way upstairs. Don't notice me at all. It looks like she went into a bedroom. I presume it to be her bedroom. Then when she comes back out, she stops in the hallway for a minute, looking like she is trying to hear something. I put my hand over my mouth, silencing my breathing.
Then she goes downstairs again. Man, I don't know how long I can keep this up. Just sitting here hiding from her. I have to either get out or try to get her help somehow. While I am sitting here in this little office room, there is a hole in the floor. It looks like my blood is dripping into that whole. Oh God, I hope that it is not going through the floor and dripping from the ceiling into the room downstairs.
Y/N POV:
As I was finishing my ramen and then cleaning up the kitchen, I went to take my seat on the couch again. A drop of blood dripped from the ceiling. I questioned it, wondering where it came from and why. So many questions; I asked myself should I investigate, should I not and just call the police. I ultimately decided to first call the police and check it out. The police told me that it would take a few minutes. Deciding to start investing on my own. I went upstairs and checked every room. I only had my office, bathroom, and my room. I came across my room to be last checked, my office. I slowly grabbed the handle and opened the door. What came into my field of vision was very disturbing.
