That's How It Went ..

Itzel's POV

I felt the river rushing inside of me, my eyes stung at the sensation. My heart felt like it had sunken back into the darkness of the world and I couldn't tell if I did or didn't anymore. I glared at myself through the bathroom mirror but it was as if I didn't even know myself. My brain felt crowded with all the negativity inside of it. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs. My best friend was knocking on the door pleading me to let him in, but this time I wanted to try and comfort myself... I relied on him far to much. No matter how much I wanted someone to notice the sadness deep in my heart, I wasn't going to show it. I wanted someone to care, but care enough to never abandon me. I knew Kelvin wouldn't do that but I felt like he grew tired listening to all my problems. I finally unlatched the door and let him in. I could tell he was worried his face expression said it all. He quickly grabbed both my arms and made sure I hadn't done anything stupid. His face was relieved when he saw nothing. He then said," I thought you were going to break the deal we made 8 months ago ...." I looked up at him and smiled and said, " Nonsense let's go back to the party!". The moment I stepped foot out the restroom was when I noticed a guy who's body was perfection, his eyes a milky chocolate color, his smooth looking lips that were a nice fuchsia color, and his silky hair that seemed to move with the wind. He was talking to a friend when he noticed me staring at him, I turned so red I could feel the cold night air turn hot. I then felt Kelvin yank me by the arm and I thought,"Thank God Kelvin's with me!". But before I could look at Kelvin in the face I noticed that the guy was searching for me, so I escaped to the front yard where no one was in sight. Kelvin had followed me though, "Why'd you run to the front?" I looked back and said,"I needed fresh air..". He looked at me and smiled, "I'm going to head back to the party! Look for me when you're ready to head home ! " I smiled and nodded. I sat quietly on the front porch and closed my eyes and listened to the wind. "Hey, whatcha doing here all alone?" I opened my eyes only to see the guy from earlier standing right in front of my face. He smiled at me and said,"Oh sorry... Did I disturb. you ?.." I nodded my head. "Oh okay... Good.... My names Alex! What's yours?" "My name ? ... My name is Itzel." His words were sweater than honey, but that also meant I had to stay away. "Well... It was nice meeting you, but I have to go...", I said to him as I slightly smiled at him and got up to my feet. I saw his mouth open, but before he could get it out I ran to go look for Kelvin. What is wrong with me? Why is my heart beating so fast?  I had so many questions that I couldn't answer.
