When gwen and amber started dating again their relationship was very problematic, gwen always thought amber never loved her and it was hard for her to trust her, even though she tried hard if amber went moments without talking to her, or even looked a bit sad she assumed they lost feelings, she was so scared, even though the relationship wasnt that bad on the outside she still felt like there was a possibility that amber didnt love her, she hated bringing this up to them but at the same time she needed closure.
when gwen and amber were babysitting bug they went out for icecream, to play games, to pretty much do anything a child wanted they loved hanging out with bug it was so calm when she was around bug was such a good kid other than her cursing problem.
they didnt mind they did curse alot around her, but other than that it was pretty calm.
gwen fell asleep on amber's shoulder while she was playing with bug, demon slayer was playing in the background they didnt mind the noise but they werent too fond of it, so they turned it down a bit as bug fell asleep on her chest while sitting in her lap, amber soon then fell asleep aswell, they were asleep on the couch for a bit, gwen got up and made them some food, she made chicken ramen, and some yogurt and banana slices for bug, she gently woke them up and decided to clean up around so when bug's mother came back there wouldnt be an issue, she started making beds, and straightening up.

Once they left and bug was with her mother, they argued for hours, about nothing, she just stopped arguing and started hugging amber and cried "i just dont want to leave, im gonna miss you so much, and i know you might say we might meet later in life, but it hurts so much i just want to be with you." she wiped her tears and amber stood there and comforted her as good as she could "there there?" that made gwen snicker "you suck at this, but thats why i love you" she kissed her cheek, "besides were like romeo and juliet." amber said. "but amber were gay-" gwen replied "EXACTLY!" amber beamed. after that moment they both went home and called, playing infectious smile.
It was fun for her, she dreaded leaving her class behind even the ones who hated her 8th grade was a good year for them there was so much drama even though it was hated at the moment she wouldnt trade her class for the world, it made her happy to look at pictures she took that year even though their relationship wasnt ideal it was theirs, even though amber was dry gwen accepted it, she didnt love how dry amber was but she loved amber, and isnt that all that matters, so before they got off call that night, it was the day before graduation, gwen said "amber? do you love me?" "yes, i love you." amber replied, gwen then said. "𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙢𝙚?"
