Skateboarding has always been an inseparable part of my life. It was actually part of me. Therefore, on the first day of summer holidays, I was going to the skate park with my quite old, worn-out skateboard, which I got from my parents a few years ago. Parents ... Then I remembered that their duo had been separated forever by my mother's new boyfriend. Do I always have to remind myself of this at the most unreasonable moment? After all, it's vacation, and I was just about to cut myself off completely from my everyday life. I'm leaving Sanford tomorrow and going to Miami to visit my father, whom I don't see very often. After all, there's a long way to go. A trip to Miami seems like a pretty good option to me, considering that it has a carefree life, a lot of modern skate parks, and most importantly - a lot of handsome blonde surfers. Ever since I discovered my sexual orientation, I dreamed of a relationship with a charming surfer. It sounds great! The sound of a text snapped me out of my thoughts. I thought it was Bernard, the aforementioned new husband of my mother, who always expects me to take care of my half-sister at the worst moment. Not that anything. I like little Mia, but knowing that she is Bernard's and my mother's child makes me gag. On the other hand, looking at the display, I breathed a sigh of relief that I would not have to play the babysitter today, because Lilly wrote to me. My best friend for years. We've known Lilly from the first grade in elementary school, she was always with me. Even after others in our pack turned their backs on me after I got out. I realized then that for so many years I had lived in a group of homophobes, whom I hate more than Bernard. I looked at the text for a long time, trying to decode it:
Lilly: Movie, David, tears
- I wrote back -
Chase: I don't quite know what you mean, but you can easily explain it to me, otherwise I won't be able to figure out what's going on.
Lilly: But if you don't know what I mean Chase? I watched David's favorite movie and it brought tears to me. This is the second time this week and it's only Tuesday! Was it so hard to guess?
Chase: Y'know Lilly, it's only tree words ale, I'll be able to deduce that you're crying again on some movie on behalf of your crush. Come on, why does he always recommend you some sorrows where you shed a lake of tears?
Lilly: Go ahead and don't give him a go, because the next time I watch some of his favorite movies with you, you will show me how tough you are. : P
Chase: Thanks for inviting me, but I'm unlikely to use it. See you tonight at the pool room at the pool? I'm going away for the whole vacation tomorrow, so this is probably the only time to piss you off a little more. ; *
Lilly: I'd love to owe you, Yo!I was delighted to hear that I was spending the evening with Lilly. We like to nibble on each other, but in the end we can always count on your support. For example, if one of us has to be covered, although most often I have to cover her, because she always has to get in trouble. And she is doing for my life counselor. I have to admit she's doing quite well, unlike me. It's even hard for me to advise which dress will be more suitable for her grandmother's name day ...
In the end, from behind the trees, my most favorite place in the world so far emerges, where I can focus only on myself and the skateboard. My last day in Sanford is perfect for the next few hours.
