Embracing Calamity

As the trio were preparing to travel to Amphibia and recruit the newtopian army, Sasha noticed something about Sprig and Polly and asked Marcy "Hey, how are the Plantars holding up?" And Marcy replied "I don't know, guess they just wanted to be by themselves." And then Sasha continued "We're actually asking those kids who just lost their grandfather to help fight against the most deadliest being in the multiverse... it's not fair...." But then Anne showed up and said "Alright, if we're gonna recruit the Newtopian army we better do it now because I don't think Earth has that much time left." And so the Calamity trio went outside and using their powers, opened a portal to Amphibia, only Olivia and Yunan followed them. They arrived in Amphibia to find Andrias and general Grime trying to keep things under control, the main castle has basically been turned into a medical bay just because of how many people were wounded. They approached the door and a soldier saw them and shouted "Hey guys! The Calamity gods are back!!" They opened the gate and let them in, Grime approached them and asked "Did... did you defeat Darcy?" But Sasha replied "Not yet Grime, in fact, quite the opposite." And then Olivia said "Darcy has acquired all three of the calamity gems and has corrupted them, with them, they will destroy all life on Earth, and they're already starting the process! Time is running out, and right now Earth's military doesn't have the kind of recourses to fight off against Darcy and their frobot army. If we want to defeat Darcy, we need the Newtopian army to join us in battle." Everyone was silent when they heard that. They were whispering to each other for a moment. Marcy then said "Please help us, we did save your world before. We would appreciate it if you helped us as well." And then Andrias heard Marcy say this and realized that he owed it to Marcy that he help her save her home after everything he had done to her while helping the Core. He approached Marcy and said "Marcy, I never got to say sorry for everything that I've done to you... but, I don't think sorry cuts it, so that is why, to make it up to you, I will help you fight." Marcy smiled when she heard this, then Andrias said to everyone else "And so should you all. We've been allowing that no good hive mind to destroy countless worlds for too long! It's time for Amphibia to rise once again and fight against the enemy and win!" And then all the others nodded in agreement and Grime said "We will help you fight Darcy." And Anne smiled and said "Soon, humans and Amphibians will fight alongside each other in battle, and we will finally put an end to this madness!!" Everyone cheered as they raised their weapons in the air. And then Grime pulled out his hammer and said "Here Sasha, this hammer, it belongs to you now." And Sasha said "Really? You're giving this back to me?" And Grime said "You've earned it commander." And as soon as Sasha grabbed it, her calamity energy surged through the hammer causing it to light up into a magenta color. Sparks of lighting emitting from it. "Oh hell yeah!" Sasha said. Anne would go on to tell everyone what the plan of attack would be. 
Later, the trio returned to Earth along with Olivia and Yunan. "Well, that went pretty well." Said Yunan. And Olivia asked Anne "So when exactly will the Newts join us in battle?" And Anne replied "When the time is right and we need them, we need to stick to the plan, we can't allow Darcy to know we're bringing in some help." And then Ivy approached them and said "The military is all set and ready. So what shall we do?" And Marcy replied "Give us a moment, we'll be ready to attack soon." And then Anne said "It's almost nightfall, we leave by sunset." As they discussed their plans, Marcy slowly walked away, but then Sprig asked "Hey Marcy wait, where are you heading?" And then Marcy responded "Oh, there's just something I want to do first, I'll be with you all in a moment ok?" And then Marcy walked away.
Marcy walked over to the massive tree she grew with her powers earlier. She could then hear the voices of the deity in her mind again, repeating the phrases:
"The term Calamity means hope, and embodied within that hope is the fundamental belief, and the potential of every living being to be a force for good. That's what you and your friends can bring them with those powers, in time, you will help the human race achieve things they could only dream of. You and your friends together can do it, you three together are the Calamity gods."
Marcy let these words play through her head, and then, she knew that it was finally time. She activated her powers. But she did more than just activate them, she let the energy flow through her veins. She could feel the energy flowing through her beginning to make her feel way stronger.
"You need to stop holding your powers back, embrace them, they're a huge responsibility after all. If you embrace your powers, you will be able to do amazing things."
The energy continued to make Marcy feel stronger, her eyes glowed bright green and bolts of green electricity were surrounding her completely. And then, she began to glow very bright as her old calamity armor materialized onto her, her cape blowing in the wind.

She examined herself and saw the armor on her, she hasn't worn this armor in a very long time. Anne and Sasha always wore their armor whenever they used their powers. The words of the deity continued in her mind.
"Anne and Sasha have already fulfilled their destiny with those powers, now it's your turn..." "Marcy, who do you wanna grow up to be?"
Marcy then said to herself like she was answering that question again "I wanna be like my friends, I want to be someone who the world will always remember. A hero." She then knelt down onto her knees, green electricity emitting from her hands, the ground beneath her began to shake as she prepared to lift off. 
"Now's your chance Marcy, to rise, do this, be this, the type of person others could only imagine ever becoming, the hero that you truly are! Take your place among the brave ones MarMar, fight and win. The time is now."
After hearing that, Marcy smiled and looked into the sky, ready to fly into the air.
"Fly MarMar, embrace Calamity."
And with that, using all the energy in her, Marcy launched herself into the sky and she flew, she kept flying higher until she entered space, she began to hover there raising her arms out as she basked in the glow of the sun, feeling her calamity powers coursing through her veins, fully embracing her calamity powers! No longer would she let the pain of her past ruin things for what could be a great future for her, at long last Marcy finally let go and forgave herself, at long last, Marcy was a true Calamity God.

Marcy Wu has finally joined the Calamity gods in the sun.
