The Getaway - YokDan Oneshot

I love you

"Papa!" the little girl screamed as she ran across the kitchen, Yok chasing after her out of breath. Grabbing a hold of her shoulder kneels down next to her.
"Torfun, promise me you will be a good girl in front of your uncles Sean and White." he gently patted her head when they heard the doorbell ring.

Yok went up to open the door and heard loud voices on the other side.
"How come I am finding out just now that you put the milk in before the cereal" Sean frustratingly says to White.
"Some people just like soggy cereal and besides it helps to drain the sugar" White argues.
"Just BUY NON-SUGARED CEREAL!!"
"What kind of cereal has no sugar, they ALL DO that's the whole reason why it tastes good-"

*Ahem

Yok clears his throat breaking up the old couple's bickering.
"Should I be regretting sending Torfun to you" he crossed his arms.
"Sorry" White quickly answered fixing his glasses. He looked over to the little one at the with soft eyes.

"Lung' White!" the child exciting yelled running towards White, picking her up and carried her in his arms.
"Nonsense don't forget the special Off gun fun night ep we did when we babysat-
"OUCH" Sean cried as White elbowed him at the side of his stomach.

White glared at him.
"Oh right I'm Sean!" he covered his mouth.
Yok raised an eyebrow.
"Okkkkayyy...well it's either you guys or Dan's parents and they're too far. I am leaving you with my trust" Yok smiles nervously.
"Don't worry Yok we'll take good care of her, enjoy your trip!" White says cheering him up.

"Have they gone yet!" a voice from inside the condo calls out. Yok feels a hand on his waist.
"P'Dan how are you?!" White asks putting on his signature beaming smile.
"Good good just been very stressed planning this trip, thank you again for agreeing to take care of our girl" Dan tells him. He looks to his left meeting Sean's eyes.
"I appreciate it" he tells him.

Sean not saying a word just nods. The couple say their goodbyes and walks toward the elevator each holding on of a Torfun's who skipped happily in the middle.

"He still isn't that fond of me is he?" Dan sighs still holding on the Yok putting his chin on his shoulder.
"It'll just take some time don't worry it's already quite better than before."
Yok turns around and holds both of Dan's hands and gives him a quick peck on the lips.
"Now the biggest worry is if we will be to go to the airport on time!"

They gathered all their suitcases double checking everything was in good shape before leaving. Locking the door they made their way down out to the taxi.

Arriving at the airport they unloaded the luggages from the trunk. Dan gave the driver a tip.
"Dude save the money for the trip we cannot splurge before even reaching" Yok warned him.
"I'm in a mood and besides the whole point of a vacation is the splurge, we deserve it" he smiled widely.
"Wait...did you just call me dude-"
"Shit we're late c'mon" Yok grabbed a hold of his arm both running to the checking gate.

To their misfortune they were met with a long lineup at the gate and looked up to see the list of departures. Their flight M07 headed to Maldives was late.
"Aw man I could've gotten a bagel to eat in line!" Dan cried. Yok glared at him aggressively.
"We just ATE before leaving!"
"It's not my FAULT I HAVE A BIG APPETITE!"
The people in line started to stare leaving the couple in embarrassment.

They both shut up and went in line, Dan putting his arm around Yok's shoulder. He beamed with joy excited to board the plane. Yok chuckled but gently tilted his head hitting the other's. They passed security and sat on the chairs near the terminal gate. Dan put his head down on his husband's shoulder. Yok sensed his tiredness from hunger but most likely guessed it also came from the stress of planning this trip.
