The Spectre

Chapter II : The City Of Yggdrassil

I heard voices ever since that accident.

The voice of my family and the one who resides within me, the Phoenix.

He is the one who saved me from that accident. But in one condition,
it turned me into a spectre.

Where I wield powers which an ordinary person can't have.

The phoenix that resides within me has a will on it's own. Using my body when I am unconscious. Yet I regain my control when my consciousness is back.

-At Home-

I waked up in the morning and jumped out of my bed as I fold the blanket and fix my bed.
I went to the bathroom and took a bath, brushed my teeth, cleaned my ears, and fixed my hair.
I went down to the kitchen where I took an egg and bacon which I had to cook to serve as my breakfast.
I ate gracefully and wiped my face as I prepared my things and put it in my bag and went out of the house silently.

I sighed and spoke "It'll be another tiring day today because of school."

Why don't you just stay on your house and do nothing? Asked the phoenix within me.

"How can you even talk to me like that even if I have still a complete control over myself?" I asked him silently as i started to walk slowly.

It's very simple my dear, I , the one who resides within you, shared the same body and strength, but not our thoughts and our will.

"Oh... How I wished you haven't saved me from that accident"

Why? Is it because I made your life boring? And that your all alone? Im still here as your guardian spirit. I granted you power.

"For what is the reason why you even grant me that power?"

It's because I sense a lot of potential in you, darling.

"Oh come on... Potential? Whadd'ya mean by that?"

I know you have a good heart and a good will, I sensed that ever since you we're born.

"What? Ever since I was born? How could that be?"

Every person in this world has their own spirit which will grant them power. But the spirits must observe is that person is deserving to receive that gift.

"But... What will I do with my powers? I have nothing to protect with."

Then you shall use your power to sace other people's life , and to vanquish the evil around you.

"Well... Maybe I can do that."

I keeped on walking while talking to the phoenix in me by whispering. Since many people have already noticed that I was murmuring, I covered my mouth with my handkerchief while I approach the gate of the school.

"Well, It's time you go and take a rest in me, my classes will start as soon as possible. I must hurry."

Well , there's one thing I want you to know.

"What is it?"

Go to the forest near here and you shall see the city of Yggdrassil. Where the spirits of the spectres are born.

"Yggdrassil??"

"Hey!! Tell me more!!"

...

"It seems your already asleep in me."

The voice of the phoenix dissipated as I went inside the school and gets in the class "

"My spectre will be here any moment this afternoon."

"I shall be grateful to see this, good will and kind hearted spectre of yours, Lina the Phoenix spirit."
