It starts with a day like no other, Oikawa started texting in the Captain 's group chat Kuroo made which was completely useless. They talked about their next matches and what not,  But... Oikawa decided he was going to make the best out of his day.

So he got up, put on his volleyball uniform. Kissed his mother on the cheek and walked out the door. While walking to Aoba Johsai, he saw a familiar face... Daichi? It was Daichi! He was infront of Oikawa walking ahead of him, of course- what did you think he was doing? Crawling?? Sitting?? Oh, wait. This is a fanfic, let me continue- ahem.

Oikawa ran up to Daichi, spooking him a bit, "Yahoo, Daichi!"  Daichi looked pale from the sudden spook, but continued walking, Oikawa followed. "Daichi~ I was thinking maybe we should hang out sometime, get boba and study or something!" Daichi turned to look at Oikawa, "Are you free this weekend? If so, how does 8:00 am sound?"

Oikawa looked at Daichi with a sparkle in his eye, "8:00 works great!" Oikawa hugged Daichi and kept on walking leaving Daichi, standing their, on the concrete, blushing.

Daichi and Oikawa started hanging out for months, getting Boba, Studying, anything! Maybe not the extreme though, but you get the point! But little did they know, Sugawara and Iwaizumi had been watching them this whole time, staring, hearts being shattered into pieces thinking the worst.

While one day, Oikawa and Daichi go back to the boba place and started talking about their crushes for Sugawara and Iwaizumi, but Daichi never mentioned one person... Oikawa.

Oikawa started thinking of ways to confess, but Daichi was so zoned into Oikawa's wonderful face he just blacked out! He couldn't hear anything, his whole focus was on Oikawa, "Daichi...? Daichi.. DAICHI!" Oikawa yelled but, not too loud to cause a scene.

"What? Oh, I'm sorry Oikawa... I was uhm...." He stared to thing of excuses.. "I was thinking about how to confess to Suga." Oikawa looked at Daichi, he knew something was up, he just played it cool, "no more being a coward! We should confess to them tomorrow and if we fail! We shall get boba and cry a river." Oikawa laughed, Daichi mesmerized by it s sound, but soon snapped out of it, "alright, deal!" They shook hands and went their separate ways.

The next day Oikawa and Daichi meet up with Suga and Iwaizumi in their own private places they wanted to meet.

"Sugawara.. I have something to tell you, and I find it very important." Daichi said. Suga looked puzzled, he just went along with it. " Suga, we have been friends ever since we started volleyball, and I wanted  to say.. Would you like to go on a date with me..? I really like you and I-" Daichi was stopped with a finger to the lips, "I'm sorry Daichi... I-I.. I can't.."

Oikawa did the exact same speech to Iwaizumi, and both got turned down. Because Iwaizumi and Suga believed Daichi and Oikawa we're dating, which allowed Suga and Iwaizumi to start hanging out for months too. Confining finding in each other, while watching their crushes "date each other" But Suga in his mind is like "No, you should have the chance to be with Oikawa.." because he is hurt. Yeah so uhm, Suga turned down Daichi and Iwaizumi turns down Oikawa.

Later that day, Suga calls Iwaizumi to go get boba with him or whatever, When they get their, they start to break down the situation, figure out how we're going to move forward, but.. someone walks through the doors, and takes a seat.. Oikawa and Daichi bawling their eyes out and drinking boba.

Now their all at this boba place, and Iwaizumi has had enough, he's starts to get up and walk over to them, he's had enough of hearing all the adventures Oikawa and Daichi go on. He grabs Daichi by his collared shirt, looks him in the eyes and goes "Listen, I'm sick of this. It's bad enough, I gotta put up with this sh¡t with you . When you're not f*cking here! It's bad enough I gotta hear Oikawa talk about all the sh¡t you do together, knowing damn well I wanna be in your place instead! But I'm not doing it here, get the f*ck out before I beat your a$$." Daichi puzzled yet attracted to this type of feeling, but Oikawa is still thinking about what Iwaizumi said, "What do you mean Iwa~Chan? You rejected me this morning." Suga was trying to calm everyone down , they are making a scene and that's when it hits him.

We're all idiots. So he takes them all by the hands and pushes them out the door. And tells them to get in the damn car. "Get in the damn car! We're going to Oikawa's house! NOW!" They rush in the car, and drive to Oikawa's house and they sit in the back yard only to be greet by Oikawa's Brown Husky Orca. So, they are all in the back yard trying to figure out why Suga made they go inside the car like someone's soccer mom. Then Suga goes on to say " we're all stupid as hell. Oikawa's and Daichi were doing the same exact thing me and Iwaizumi were doing , confining in each other, because we thought the other friend was dating the other person. And everyone does a forehead slap, because Suga is smarter than them, and Daichi looks at Suga and goes "So I had a chance.. this WHOLE time???" And Suga laughs and goes "Yes you moron! Of course you had a chance. But I thought you were dating Oikawa because Oikawa's so much flashier than me.." and he starts listing his insecurities, basically a game of list all your insecurities, so they do that for a good 20 minutes, so after that, Iwaizumi says "well in my jealousy of Daichi forgetting to spend time with Oikawa, I started to have a crush on Daichi." And Oikawa and Suga we're agreeing and Daichi goes " well I kinda developed a crush on you too Iwaizumi, I mean... look at him." And they all agree.

And Suga and Oikawa look at each other and nod in agreement. "How about we become a Polycule? I like Daichi, Daichi likes me, Daichi likes Oikawa. Oikawa likes everyone in this group, and same thing goes for us. Why not Date each other? What's the worst that
Could happen?" Iwaizumi says, they all agree. " we get our separate me time during the week and then for weekends we could meet up together and do couple stuff together, we could trade dates for the weekend, I don't know! We'll make it work!!" Suga says, everyone is on board with the plan

Suga said putting ivy on his lap, "Why did pops almost beat up papa!"Suga looked at Ivy and placed her next to him and picked up Ivory, their newborn baby. "I'll tell it to you all over, so you can understand better Ivy." Suga said as he started to tell the tale, is how they became poly.
