graduation came the following day, and once their names were called they hugged eachother, and gwen cried she was so happy she made it she was struggling the whole year worried of retention.
amber went over with her best friend cecelia and took a photo
gwen had to leave soon so she was sad, her mother monique basically grabbed her hand and smiled at her sadly, and said "let's go somewhere."
they went to a chinese food place where she saw cecelia, and her cousin and other classmates,
once she went home she was sad still but she texted amber, a long message about how her mother felt about the situation amber and her argued a bit about it but eventually gwen gave up, she wasnt sure how to explain her feelings for amber, amber always said she loved her but gwen just didnt feel it, pretty much after that day her feelings were weird to amber, feeling weirdly attached but detached, mutual feelings maybe, it was the final few days of school two to be exact, gwen got picked up early cause she didnt see anyone, none of her friends were there, they texted saying they were coming but she was already at home, she accepted she'd see her friends in highschool except amber she didnt really mind she could always call her, she didnt feel like the relationship was going too well anyway, she figured amber would get tired of her nagging and would find someone better, she always felt like amber was out of her league when it came to it, amber was beautiful, and gwen was well. gwen, she was chubby short, and annoying, amber was chubby fairly tall and had good charm, and had long hair, gwen wasnt envious of her significant other, she just wished she was better looking so then maybe it would be believeable that she was dating her, considering gwen wasnt that good looking in her eyes, amber always called her pretty but that was her girlfriend so she felt like she was always lying, it was almost summer break so gwen vowed to become thinner, and prettier and try to be healthier, once the end of the day came it was only one day left of hell before sweet summer freedom.

the final day of school gwen wasnt there, it was only a half day it wasnt worth it, she didnt bother it wasnt like anyone she liked was gonna be there anyways, she figured 𝙣𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩 gwen would be there, not only as a lover but as a friend, and even though they had a rocky start there was no one gwen would rather spend her life with, her life was hell, but amber made her glad to live in it, her life was hard amber was her reason to push on and continue trying, she loved amber, amber might not be perfect but in gwens eyes she was more than perfect, like god took his time crafting her, she loved amber in multiple ways than one, and even eight grade was hard, they knew it would be easier together..
