Saturday
Deauni James
Today was my last day in the hospital and I was so happy to leave. Being here got lonely sometimes and the twins were already giving me a hard time. I got out of bed and started to pack up everything, as I was getting our things together somebody knocked on the door. I was confused because I wasn't expecting anybody.
"Come in?" I said in a questionable but accepting tone
"I'm taking you home" he said
No hey, no nothing just those three words.

"No you're not, my mom is coming to get us. You can leave now and make sure you close the door behind you" I said to him with an attitude
"Deauni give me a chance! I already lost my best friend, my girl and I'm not about to lose my son too. Let's pocket how we feel about each other and just be there for our son" he said
"Fine Dc! Let me just text my mom and tell her she doesn't have to worry about coming" I replied with an annoyed tone
"Can I pick him up?" He asked me
"He's your son too, knock yourself out" I responded

The room got quiet until Kiara started crying, I picked her up and started to feed her. They weren't discharging me yet so I was forced to sit in the room with Dc for some hours. The room was silent but his presence annoyed me. I burped baby K and started to rock her back to sleep then placed her back in her bed. Dc was still holding Dallas he didn't want to put him down, he was in awe. Dallas had even fell asleep in his arms it was cute to watch but I still couldn't stand that bitch. He put Dallas down and let him sleep in peace and then went to go sit in the empty chair that was in the corner of my room.

"What happened to us?" He asked out of the blue
"Don't start that shit. Right person, wrong timing." I said as I picked my phone up to avoid anymore conversation with him
"What you mean? This could've all been avoided if you was just truthful with both me and Kj like what the hell was you thinking for real?" He said in a stern tone
"Look! It's nothing I can do about the past okay? What's done is done baby and you and Kj going to have to let it go! I'm tired of y'all throwing this shit in my face, this everybody blaming everybody shit is getting real old! The babies are here, they're healthy, beautiful and well taken care of. It's nothing I can do to change shit in the past so stop bringing it up!" I snapped but in a low tone

"Yeah you right...I just wish shit would've resulted in a different way" he said
Before I could respond Dr.Gray came marching in to give me my discharge papers. I was so happy because me being cramped up in this cold room was finally coming to an end.
"Good afternoon Miss James, I have good news! Here are your discharge papers and congratulations on your twins." He said
"Thank you doc" I replied as I signed the papers
"No problem, you all take care. Oh and Deauni don't forget to schedule the twins first doctors appointment"
"Okay got it" He left the room and I quickly gathered everything
"Woah woah woah what's the rush jit?" Dc said as he got up to help me
"Boy I'm ready to go home! Now help me!" I said to him as I gave him two baby bags full of clothes

I grabbed my book bag full of my clothes and placed it on my back, I grabbed baby k and put her in her car seat and same thing with Dallas. Dc carried Dallas car seat and I carried baby k's. I was so happy to get the hell out of here because it's been too long. We made our way to his car and I helped him put the kids and the bags into the car.
"You'll pull around to the front so I can schedule their appointment?" I asked
"Yeah I got you"
He pulled up in front of the hospital and I quickly went inside to schedule the twins appointment.

As I was discussing the appointment times with the receptionist I heard a nurse saying "ma'am you're on the wrong side of the hospital. This is the pediatric wing, just calm down and I'll have someone take you to the trauma wing". My nosy ass turned around to see who she was talking to and I was surprised to see Drew's mom. I was confused because Nani said he was out the hospital but I didn't pay it no mind. I just shrugged it off and grabbed the paperwork the receptionist handed me.
