Lisa's POV

I woke up with a beeping sound of my alarm clock — which I forgot to turn off since I don't have classes anymore. It was 9am. I don't think I've ever slept that long in my school life before. My curtains are wide open and I could feel the heat of the sun touch my skin. I immediately got up, made my bed — not forgetting to tuck in the corners of the cover, and had a very relaxing shower. I then put on one of my favorite gray sweatpants and black tank top and rushed down the stairs for breakfast.

As I reach the last step of the stairs, mom was busy with someone on the phone while dad was having his coffee while reading the newspaper. They didn't even notice me coming until I greeted them good morning.

"Good morning sweetie, would you like some pancakes?" Mom asks as she dismisses the person at the phone.

"Yes please. Who was on the phone, mom?" I asked.

"It was Harry, sweetie. He wanted to ask you if you have already packed for your summer trip and also if you needed anything because he's going to the mall for last minute items."

"Oh, I'll just text him, mom"

"Since we're on the summer trip topic, Lis do you need a ride going to the airport?" Dad asks.

"Actually, Harry's inviting me to ride with him, but I think I could ask him to just join with me going there. I'll let you know, dad. Thanks by the way." I politely said.

Mom placed my pancakes together with some bacon and eggs in front of me. I quickly shoved my breakfast to my mouth and hurriedly went up to my room and grabbed my phone trying to give Harry a simple good morning, babe text, but he raced me to it as I saw a text coming in from him.

"Good morning, Lis"

"You raced me. I was supposed to send you one. Good morning to you too,Harold"

"Have you packed for the trip?"

"I haven't. But I heard that you called a while ago and said that you are going to the mall."

"Yes. I'm actually getting ready and soon to be leaving. Want to go with me?"

"Sure. I would love to. See you *kiss emoji*"

"Love you, Lis"

After reading his text, my cheeks flushed red. I still can't believe that we are in a relationship. My childhood best friend, who I thought would never be mine, is now mine — my childhood sweetheart.

I changed my sweatpants into some comfy jeans and placed a gray hoddie that says UCLA at the front on top of my black tank top. I put on some black eyeliner and mascara with a little hint of my new NYX lip crème in the shade Stockholm. Since I was sitting by the mirror, my eyes noticed the necklace that Harry gave me yesterday. I haven't removed it since he put it on me. I don't think I would ever remove it. I slide in my Toms and grabbed my bag and iPhone.

As I went down, my parents are smiling at me.

"I'll go with Harry to the mall and be back soon to pack up"

"Alright. See you , sweetie" Mom says as I hug her good — bye.
