// Agrona POV //

In my thousand years of life I have never been so nervous like how I was right now. Not even when I had tapped the cheeks of the daughter of the strongest clan leader in Epheotus.

Shaking my head to dismiss those distant memories, I look down at the glowing artefact in my hand. The moment that I have been waiting for a millennia has finally come! The moment when the fate of this world—no, this very universe—will forever be changed, rewritten, for I will put forth my first step in my grand plan:

To reincarnate unique beings into this reality, the ones who are capable of changing the very course of this universe and the laws that governed them.

These beings will be capable of ignoring the constraints and go beyond what is capable in this universe. When that happens...Asuras will be nothing more than ants, inconsequential and irrelevant as they should be.

Then, I will have my final revenge.

"My lord—" a gruff voice snapped me out my grande monologue for destroying my once brethren's. I turned to my side to see the being that had spoken to me, his large figure with sharp horns, shrouded in complete darkness, only his piercing red eyes looking at me with subservience. "What is it, Cadell? Do you not know better than to disturb me while I'm inside this realm?" I bellowed.

Cadell, my right hand man, flinched and dropped to his knee. His metal armor hit the dark floor that was shrouded by eternal flames as they started to eat away at his flesh, making him bleed. Yet, my subject remained unmoving as his body started to burn and wither away slowly as they got devoured by the hungry, otherworldly—godly—flames.

I snorted derisively before snapping my fingers as the surrounding changed from being an abysmal black to rich white; the eternal flames no more in sight; my subject's burnt flesh back to its pristine self.

This was my realm. I ruled over this absolute space, thanks to the knowledge I had received from the mages that once ruled over the continents.

"My sincere apologies, my lord. I have come here to deliver you the urgent news we had received from our spies in the other lesser continent." Cadell said, his head lowered down, looking at the white floor.

"Go on". I said, as my subject gave me a long awaited news. "My lord...our spies have spotted Lady Sylvia's mana signature in the deepest depths of the forest, near the Elven kingdom. They are waiting for further orders from you".

A sharp burst of energy escaped my being, as it rippled outwards, reacting with the very fabric of this realm, my realm, as the reality started to tremble, echoing my inner agitation. "So she is still alive after all..." I muttered while the air around us started to rage and surge rapidly at my words.

I took a deep, sharp breath, making the swirling energy freeze, as the air started to get thick.

"I cannot let her interfere with my life's work. And I certainly cannot let her take away my precious experiment." I paused, looking down at my left hand which held an oval shaped egg that glowed golden and black as it pulsated with raw energy. "I shall start the process then."

Cadell rustled slightly at my words. "Should I stay by your side, my lord? Or—"

"No." I cut him off. Looking down at him, I spoke. "You will go take care of the dragon princess, make sure she will not pose any threat to my plans and the new future that I create".

Cadell lifted his head up, looking at me with fervour. His sharp eyes glowed incessantly as his right hand hit against his armor, his chest, drawing a sharp cling that reverberated throughout the voice we were in. "As you command, my lord". He bowed so low that his face stopped only a few inches above the floor.
