Chapter 7: Aizawa Does a little bit of trolling (Updated)

Y/n POV

People were really impressed by Midoriya's ball throw

Uraraka: "Woo! Now that's a hero-like record if I ever saw one!"

Iida: "His finger appears to be swollen. Thinking back to the entrance exam... What a strange quirk..."

Shiny: "Stylishly done~"

Bakugo was in utter shock, not saying a word

I chucked to myself as he seemed to internally combust and lunge toward Midoriya

Bakugo: "WHAT THE HELL?! EXPLAIN YOURSELF DEKU!!"

Midoriya: "WAAAAAAHH!"

Bakugo's attack was cut short by Aizawa's capture cloth, it kept him a mere meter away from Midoriya

Bakugo: "Argh! What the... This cloth... It's stiff!!"

Aizawa: "It's a 'capture weapon' made of carbon fibers and a special alloy wire. Geez... Stop using your quirk already"

Aizawa's hair floated above his head and his iris' flashed red, a dead give-away that he's using his quirk

Aizawa: "I'm getting dry eye over here"

Shota Aizawa, Quirk? Erasure! He can nullify the quirk of anyone he looks at! But the effect wears off when he blinks!

Bakugo calmed down and Aizawa released his hold on him

Aizawa: "What a waste of time. Prepare for the next event"

Uraraka and I ran over to Midoriya to make sure he was alright

Uraraka: "Is your finger okay?"

Midoriya: "Ah... Yeah..." He blushed

Something tells me he likes Uraraka, but I can't put my finger on it...

Timeskip to the end of the tests~

I did pretty alright with the rest of the tests, not last but not even close to first

Aizawa: "Moving along. Time for the results"

A hologram pops up, showing the 20 results

I search for my name, finding it second to last, right in front of Midoriya's spot

Aizawa: "Your total scores simply reflect your performance in each of the events. Explaining the process would be a waste of time, so all you get are the final rankings"

Even though Midoriya had a look of anguish, I knew he had nothing to worry about because...

Aizawa: "Also, I was lying about expelling someone."

There it is...

Aizawa: "That was a rational deception... Meant to bring out the best in all of you"

Midoriya, Uraraka and Iida: "WHAAAAAAT!!" They cry.

I simply cross my arms in dismay.

Y/n: "Thought you were smarter than that Midoriya"

Midoriya: "YOU KNEW??!?"

A girl almost as tall as me chimed in

Ponytail: "Well of course it was a lie... Didn't take much to figure out..."

Y/n: "Exactly, it was obviously a scare tactic." 

She smiled and held out her hand
