The Past affects the Present

A bit of info

It was morning and Shadow woke up and saw he was in Sonic and Tails house and he panicked for a second but then remembered why he was there. He thought Sonic was next to him but instead he was gone Shadow thought he had gone out for an early run so he headed to the kitchen to make breakfast but as he made his way there the smell of pancakes, bacon, etc filled his nose then when he got to the kitchen he saw Sonic cooking breakfast and it smelled amazing "Morning Shads" "Morning Faker" Sonic was finishing cooking while Shadow watched the news. Once the food was done Sonic went to go wake up Tails when they came the three of them then ate breakfast which was delicious. Tails had wanted to test out a new plane he built and Sonic wanted to go for his morning run "Hey Shads wanna join me? We can race" Shadow then told him "Sure sounds good how long are we gonna take?" Sonic then had to think on how long he usually took which was a good hour or so "Give or take about an hour" then they went on run that quickly turned into a race cause they still were competetive even if they did recently admit their feelings to one another.

They stopped for a break near the outskirts of the city. Shadow wanted to ask Sonic for some answers but then it would seem like he only wanted answers which is not true because he does genuinely have feelings for Sonic however he was also curious as to what happened in his past "Hey Shads a few days ago you wanted to know why I dont like G.U.N or any form of government" Shadow being slighty confused "Yeah, why?" Sonic was hesitant but he trusted Shadow to some extent so "Well in the past they never did help when any mobian that was...different instead they hunted them they even teamed with Robotnik to hunt them and the current government isn't all that different" Shadow had to think a bit before realization hit him "You were one of those different mobians weren't you? Cause of your superspeed" Sonic knowing he was half right "Well yes cause of my superspeed but also cause of my fur coloring" Shadow was confused as to what his coloring had to do with anything "What do you mean?" Sonic looked at him as if he just said something stupid "Really? Shads look at me have you ever seen another mobian with the same shade of blue that I have" Shadow thought back on all the mobians he's seen and Sonic was right he had never seen a mobian with the same shade of blue and not many if not all back then were as understanding as they are now.

"But enough of that wanna continue racing?" Sonic asked Shadow who was still processing what Sonic told him said "Sure since its getting late we should head back" "Ok ready? set, go!" and with that they raced back to their houses Shadow went to his and Sonic told Shadow he would go home but he actualy had different plans cause instead he went on a run for a while and after a while he got food but while he was eating his forms were arguing

Exe: All im saying is a little vengance and possibly murder won't hurt

Super: Your suggesting we find Robotnik and let you deal with him

Exe: Yes!

Were: Yeah no last time you wanted to 'deal with someone' the police found them in pieces and brutaly murdered

Exe: He desrved it, Fleetway back me up here

Fleetway: I only agree to Exe's plan if its me and Dark who get to torture and kill him

Dark: I agree with Fleetway

Sonic: What is going on I keep hearing something about murder?

Werehog: Sonic is here! He'll tell you guys its a bad idea

Sonic: Whats a bad idea?

Hyper: Exe wanted to find and kill Robotnik and Fleetway agreed but only if he and Dark got to torture and kill him

Sonic: I....what....ok so basically they want vengeance...and you want to know who's side im on

Darkspine: Yes

Sonic: Well I agree with Fleet and Dark

Super and Were: Im sorry WHAT!!!

Sonic: You heard me im on their side but im not saying im letting it happen the only time you would be able to do that is if he came here or we cross paths again

Darkspine: Makes sense

Super: Well at least its basically only if they see each other again

Sonic: Yep now do you mind keeping it down and dont go crazy when I go near the Master Emerald

Dark: Wait why are you going to Angel Island?

Sonic: I dont feel like dealing with reminders of the past through nightmares so im going there

Were: How does the Master Emerald help?

Darkspine: Im also confused

Fleet: Right your both new ok so basically the Master Emerald's energy helps Sonic with negative energy so if he sleeps near it no nightmares a.k.a reminders of the past also cause he has a connection with both it and the chaos emeralds

Super: Yeah but he doesn't do it often since one time Knuckles almost found out

Darkspine: And thats bad why?

Sonic: Didn't I say to keep it down im heading there right now and the last thing I need is Knuckles seeing me argue with myself

Werehog: Ok we'll try

Exe: Speak for yourself

Sonic sighed since his forms could be a handfull he was on his way to Angel Island hoping Knuckles wouldn't see him however he didn't know Knuckles moved the Master Emerald which irritated Sonic since he now had to find it by its energy signature and he did find it after a little while. Knuckles had moved the Master Emerald somehwere no one knew about or is very hard to find so.....how the hell did Sonic find it!?!? and why is he curled up into a ball and sleeping right next to it. He could just wake him up and ask or he could wait he decided to wait.
