All the shit Charlie went through with Ben, Charlie could've completely destroyed bens reputation of being a straight rugby player

Ben outed Charlie I think, I'm not sure but Charlie got outed his freshman year, he was so little and he was shamed so much for being who he is

I wish I were a better sister, I have a younger brother right now, he's 12, his name is Oliver, anyway back to Becky and Ben

"I really like him, okay?"

This is the worst. I hope, I really hope they don't get together

"Yeah. Oh, yeah, no, sure. I get it"

I nod still stirring my chocolate milkshake

"Just give him a chance"

I just look at her with a bland face, she is the most perfect person, perfect nose, blue eyes, perfect shaped lips, literally the only person that can really pull off purple hair

"Oh, come on. There's gotta be someone you sort of like, just a little"

I think about it for a second, there is no one in this school I could possibly like, no one cares, I don't care, no one cares

"I don't know, I just guess I haven't really though about it"

"Well... think about it, and then maybe we can all go to homecoming together, like a double date thing."

I stare at her, Ben walks over and sits down, putting his arm around Becky

"Hey, babe"

"Hey!"

"Sorry I'm late"

He kisses her

"All good, babe"

I want to puke, this is gross, ugh, they call each other babe, kill me right now

"Hey Tori"

"Ben"

I smile so fake-ly at him it's probably noticeable, but I do not care

"Do you think your mom could hook us up with some burgers? They're just so great here"

"Huh. She's not working today"

I say, still with a fake smile and a tint of annoyance in my voice

"I was just asking"

He laughs, he has such an annoying jock laugh

"Okay."

I say quietly, I want to rip his throat out

"Want a burger Ben? Let's get a burger. I've got some cash"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah"

"Wanna share one babe?"

"Yeah. Oh, ketchup"

They both get up and walk away, Becky smiles at me before sliding away

Ben sits back down and eats the chips that were supposed to be mine
