In a forest far from civilization, a young boy could be seen above in the trees waiting for something to come his way. After a while, he saw a deer walk out from the bushes. The boy pulled out one of his pistols and aimed at the deer, but as he was about to shoot a group of baby deer followed the big deer.
???: Guess we'll be having berries today.
The boy holstered his pistol and was about to leave until he felt a presence behind him.
???: Good morning, Y/n

Treyni is the Guardian of the forest. She would never allow devils or other supernatural beings into the forest, but she felt sympathy for Y/n and his crew so she allowed them to stay.
Treyni: I'm surprised you're awake this early.
Y/n: I was planning on finding some meat for me and everyone else but...
Treyni followed Y/n's view to see he was looking at the family of deer underneath the tree.

Before he lived in the forest, his name was Y/n Phenex. He was once a part of the house of Phenex. This family had a sort of legend that one day a Phenex born with the powers of a god will bring the family unbelievable power. As Lady Phenex gave birth to Y/n, they believed he would be the one...but instead of an all-powerful Phenex, he wasn't able to use any magic, unlike his siblings. After he was 11 years old, he had grown a crush on the Gremory Household Heiress, Rias Gremory...but he wasn't only rejected by her but also her parents and even his own. It was later decided that Riser would marry Rias which upset Y/n as they all knew how he felt about her. To make things worse, he was later kicked from the household and told to never come back as he was a disgrace to the Phenex Household.

Making his way to the front door, Y/n had gathered some of his belongings as he was told that his parents decided to disown him and kick him out of the Phenex Household.
