"Here we are" We finally reach his house. We are both shivering at the coldness "my parents aren't home, you want to watch a movie?"

I nod and Michael takes his keys out, jiggling with them a few times before unlocking the door. Once he unlocks the door, a wave of cold air hits our faces.

I shut my eyes and tighten my grip on Michaels shirt. He hustles over to the heater and turns it on, soon warm air fills the house. "This is much better" I comment. Michael nods, sitting on the couch, finding a movie for us to watch

I huddle close to him and lean my face on his chest. He wraps a arm and me and brings me even closer to his chest. I can feel is breathing and heartbeat. It's soothing

"How about this one?" He shows me a horror movie. Horror, I love horror movies, yet they still scare me. A lot. I slowly nod, leaning up from his chest and onto his shoulder. "Be right back"

Michael gets up and runs upstairs. I hear loud shuffling and then footsteps running back downstairs. I see Michael holding on big, furry gray blanket in his hands. He throws it over my body and then runs back around to sit next to me.

"Ready? I'm starting it now" Michael shakes me back into reality.

"Yeah" I smile. Michael smiles back before turning his focus on the TV, still his hand wrapped around me, and me on his shoulder.

We are 40 minutes into the movie and I am already scared, very scared. Whenever I would tense up Michael would tell t
me everything was okay.

I snap back into reality by the sound of screaming and a scary jump scare. I tense up and fling my arms around Michael, tightening my grip on his shirt. He squeezes my hand

"It's alright, love. It's not real" He chuckles at my behavior.

I smile "I love you Mikey"

"I love you to doll"
