A Summer of Formula 1

Authors Introduction

Hi all! Im home from college for the summer and found myself with an absolutely ridiculous amount of free time.... and desire to do more than sit in the pool for three months. 

Im not exactly sure where Im going with this story but its something I think Ill enjoy developing. 

I love Formula One and thought id combine my love for it with my college major. 

Ive never really done any creative writing since highschool, the only thing ive done with writing the past few years is college papers, projects, essays, and exams. For my major- a combination of all things polisci, international relations and security, peace and war, and psychology- I write quite a bit of research papers and journal articles so I have a somewhat sturdy formulating background (id like to think) but then again, ive never done anything like this before. 

I hope youll give it a shot and maybe enjoy Adrienne's adventure in the Formula 1 Paddock and around Europe throughout her summer. 

- You dont need to really know anything about F1 or International Relations or History to read this- its purely just inspired by the sport and the people within it. It wont be History and IR heavy, that will just be what her job/ study is focused in, ocassionaly making an appearance. 

Summary-ish:

Adrienne is a working student in Europe who in a turn of events, ends up meeting one of her favorite F1 drivers on the streets of France. Her reason for being in Europe- a meeting for school- takes her on a tour around the continent and beyond, allowing her to keep up with her new Formula One friends. She navigates a challenging summer both in the International Security Community and the Paddock, trying her hardest to keep up her role in Uni while balancing the drama and connections shes making among the F1 drivers.

**would you prefer this from altering POVs of characters, just the view of the main character, or third person?

**Please please PLEASE leave comments on what you think could be changed/ improved and what you'd like to see. Im very open to writing this story in the path of what you all would like to see! And im writing this story either outside in the hot sun or in my bed so im sorry but the gramatical errors will likely be frequent. I have this thing where i hate proofreading-bad for a college student, I know- but this is my first thing of this kind and reading it back might make me cringe sorry. Ill try to update whenever I can but Im working a few days a week, keeping my horses in shape, and taking a summer class at the end of the summer. ILL TRY MY BEST 

- Id also like to say, this is all completely my own work. I havent read any F1 stories becase to be frank, Ive been at college and truly dont even have time to pee during the day. That being said, If anything is familiar to you or seems taken from somewhere else, please let me know so I can change it!
