Frankie's POV
~ ♡"Frankie!" Someone yelled in a familiar voice. I stood from my bed and walked out to the living room, seeing Chris standing there with a worried look on his face.
"Chris...." I attempted to speak, but couldn't finish. He walked over and hugged me tightly.
"I've got you." He whispered. I held onto him tightly and silently cried into his shirt for what seemed like years. After a while, I felt a nudge against my leg. I looked down and saw Tigger before hearing crying in the bedroom.
"That's Tyler." I said and walked into the bedroom. I picked him up from his crib and walked to the kitchen. Chris followed and watched as I made a small bottle and started feeding Tyler.
"Frankie, are you okay?" He asked. I simply shrugged. He walked over and took Tyler and the bottle. "Go to sleep. I'll stay with him until he goes to sleep."
"Okay..." I nodded and shuffled to my bed.
I woke up a few hours later and heard singing from the other room. I walked in and saw Chris holding Tyler and sitting on the couch, singing quietly.
"'Take this for what it is. I think you're a tad bit prejudice against the ones like us that are searching for the answers.' He said, 'Kid, you don't know shit. You should go back home and live in that quietly little town you left behind.'
I'm coming home. Don't you cry. I'm coming home. Just in time."
I walked over quietly behind the couch and leaned down, wrapping my arms around him. He flinched slightly before leaning back and kissing my cheek. Then he continued singing.
"I am a fake. A constant go getter of fate. I lost track of time. I carried my kind on a plate. I seasoned it well with acid and M.D.M.A. Then I howled at the moon til the sun burned out both of my eyes. So I checked my pulse. Standing there white as a ghost. I lacked a completion and stabbed my reflection 12 times. So I held my breath, til my soul left my body for dead. Then I ripped through the clouds to talk with the man in the sky."
"Chris." I stopped him.
"Yeah?" He asked. I walked around and sat next to him.
"Thank you for being here." I said.
"Don't thank me. I want to be here for you." He replied. I leaned my head on his shoulder and looked at Tyler.
"He's a pretty cute baby, isn't he..." I mused.
"Very." He nodded. "I've been out here bonding with him for two hours."
"How much did you sing to him?" I chuckled.
"Only two songs. He got a little feisty after a while of me talking. Probably just thinking 'Shut the hell up.'" He smiled.
"Jeez, Chris. You can entertain a crowd of fans every night for two and a half months, but you can't entertain a two week old baby for two hours." I teased.
"Well, damn." He chuckled. Tyler started wiggling slightly, so I picked him up.
"You know you have to change his disper after he eats, right?" I asked.
"I do now." He smiled. I shook my head and walked to the bedroom. He followed before I began changing the child's diaper.
"I haven't even signed the adoption papers yet..." I told him after moment.
