Running from the Dead

700 hours

"What is the Grim's forest?" I asked freaking out. I just have been chased by a grim reaper and now am transported into a weird forest.

" It is where the Grim Reaper puts us when we run," said Emmie as her red hair flowed behind her. "Time flies here... one of the runners is from the eighteen hundreds. "

"What do you mean by runners," I ask.

" People who run from the Grim Reaper and get teleported here," Emmie said.

" It is just a big forest?" I ask quietly.

"We've have only been in one area, runners run one more feet everyday as we map out the forest, " Emmie said,  " You see that their is traps here, ways to kill us without work. We've already lost ten kids from the traps and it is risky to lose more."

" How many runners is their?" I ask.

" Thirteen and now your here you can join us," she said. No way I was joining them! I just saw Emmie and I want to get out of here.

"No way I'm joining you," I scream.  I was so frustrated,  I just got here and they want me to join their little club.

" You will come running back," Emmie sneered,  "After all they all do." I never seen this side of Emmie and never wanted to see it. I normally was a god judge of character and was right this time. Emmie was a snob. I start running in a random direction.  Emmie started to chase after me but was to slow. Fiqures... all the runners must not be as fast as me. Hopping over tree stumps and branches, I run as fast as I can.

Ouch! I stumbled over a person in the forest. I tried to get up but ended up falling down the hill onto the leave scattered floor. The person came racing after me. As he came closer I could pick out the details on his face. He had dark black hair and bright blue eyes. 

" Are you okay?" He said. What I heard was; rm Liu kay.

" Wha?" I asked. He was so hot... Okay back to reality.

" Are you okay?" He asked for the second time.

" Yeah... Are you?" I said.

" I'm fine, what is your name?" he asked.

" Sarah, and you?" I asked.

" My name is Jase," Jase said. "Are you with the runners?"

"Heck no!" I said. I already hated those runners.

" How did you get here?" Jase said.

"Well I was running then I went into the woods where I saw the Grim Reaper.  But I didn't know it was him so I said he was a weirdo and had basically no class. Also i asked if he was from disney world... He tried to take me but I ran. Super fast! Then he said weird words and I was teleported here. I met Emmie then ran from her and then crashed into you and here I am... So yeah..." I said quickly. Jase laughed.

" What," I said.

" You called the grim reaper from Disney world! " Jase said laughing, "Do you get out much... Wait something is wrong."

"I can't get out much," I said.

" What do you mean?" Jase asked. I hesitated for a second. Why should I tell him?

" I did something," I said, "I'm on trial for murder."

" WHAT!" he exclaimed.
