Niall takes a deep breath before opening a new tab on his computer, starting to read through all the information he had to fill for the gay dating website Love Connection.

On a Friday night I am: watching Netflix and eating pizza

"Yeah Niall, guys are totally want to date you if you say that..." murmurs to himself erasing that awful answer.

On a Friday night I am: probably out partying

I work as a: bartender

Niall reads over his answers one more time before pressing next.

"Simple but effective" says trying to calm himself down and pressing next once again, this time the website showing the welcome homepage.

He immediately closes the laptop and puts it down on the coffee table when he hears the jiggling of the keys and his roommate Zayn entering the flat.

"Hey Ni, I'm back" Zayn calls out walking towards the living room where he's sure his best friend is. "What were you doing?" asks Niall that is almost too innocently sitting on the couch.

"I-I was watching the telly, yeah."

Zayn looks at the Tv and back at Niall with an amused face. "Niall... The telly isn't even on."

"I said I was. Was is past tense, I just turned it off when you came" gulps.

Zayn laughs and shakes his head knowing that Niall was up to something but not wanting to push him. "I brought some Chinese take out, you wanna eat?" says making his way to the kitchen.

"yeah, I'll be right there."

This is my new and first fic and I'm really excited about it. I know it might seem boring now but I promise it'll get better as time passes. I'm starting to write now so bare with me if it seems not well written. The only thing I ask of you is to comment because constructive criticism always helps make a story better!
