Hopefully this weekend

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I hadn't bothered to open my eyes as I grabbed for my phone until I realized there was a bit of a weight on me.  I looked up to see a cat with blue eyes staring at me...

I don't own a cat...

Then the events of last night flooded into my head. Oh! It was...uh...Tuki...? I continued to stare at it, slowly raising the phone to my eyes. "Tsuki! Get off him..." And on command Tsuki was right off me. I gave Sasuke, who was making breakfast in the kitchen, an appreciative smile.

"Hello?"

"Naruto!" A frantic voice called. Shit...Hinata! I completely forgot about her. "I was so worried!! I woke up and you weren't next to me and-Where are you!?!" She asked frantically,  all in one breath. "Hinata, I'm fine, please don't panic. I'm with Sasuke..." I didn't mean to worry her. I should've left her a note before leaving, but that wasn't on my mind at the time.

"Sasuke?" She asked, worry melded in with surprise. "Are you ok?". She didn't have much of a relationship with Sasuke. The only words exchanged between them was when we were 16 and he had told her to stop talking in a not so nice way. He was mean then-well-meaner. He was only nice to people he was EXTREMELY close with, so him and her not being very close didn't leave much room for her to see his good side.

"Of course. I just left to say 'hi'. We're just catching up is all."

"Ok, Naruto. Let me know next time! I was extremely worried, this is so unlike you..." she said. "I know, I'm sorry..." I feel terrible...I really didn't mean to have her worry. I would usually tell her where I've gone so she wouldn't worry.

She forgave me and hung up the phone. I sunk into the couch at my careless mistake. I groaned as I dragged my hands down my face.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk..." I shot up from the couch and glared at Sasuke. He wasn't even looking at me! "Let me guess, your dumbass left without saying anything to her?" He said. I could hear the smirk in his voice. My face scrunched din annoyance. "Actually, I don't need to guess, I know because this isn't a new case for a moron, am I right?"

"Ha! Ha ha ha, shut up, Sasuke." I grumble. He chuckles as he picks up two plates and set them on the counter. "Whatever, you know I'm right. You hungry?" I was, as angry as I was at him, I was. I sat up and went towards the heavenly smelling food. I hate that he can apparently cook so well, but I guess that's a necessary skill to learn when you live alone. I sat down to see a bowl of rice topped with a sunny-side up egg with a bit of furikake sprinkled on top. On the side was a small plate of fish. Damn it, this looked good. "I accept your forgiveness proposal." I say as I grab the chop sticks on the side of the bowl and dug in. Damn! This was really good! "Tsk! Whatever will help you sleep at night, dumbass." He scoffs as he began to eat as well. We ate in comfortable silence, Tsuki occasionally circling around Sasuke's feet, mewing for food. We stayed like this for about 10 minutes before Sasuke cleared his throat. "I'm sorry, but I have to get ready for work..." He said apologetically.

Oh, right, I have work today too. I offered to wash the dishes for him. He seemed hesitant at first, but he let me. It didn't take long for me to finish. "Thank you, Naruto" He said gently. I smiled at him as I walked out the door, giving him a little wave.
