Bf x Pico Shorts

If I win... we try again. Pt 1

It's been a month since Bf broke up with Gf, and it's been a week since he and Pico have started talk more often.

Why though? Why break up with such a kind, playful, and attractive girl? Becuase his ex-Pico- lives in his mind rent free. Even after years of being apart... and Gf just didn't.

Gf took it hard, but ultimately agreed that they'd be better off as friends, though that she'd need space first, to get over him.

And that's... he feels bad, but now that he's realized, he can't pretend. And he completely understands needing space- that's what had happened with him and Pico when they broke it off.

He just isn't sure how effective it truly is.

He still misses Pico- to have him lean on top of him, drapping his bigger body across Bf's, the casual grasp on his shoulders or even waist, to fight over the remote control, to playing video games together, to dragging Pico out of the house for a date, to Pico's subtle acts of love, to even just the smell of Cigarettes.

And the worst thing... the thing that makes it harder to get over... Is that it wasn't a mutual break up. It was a few weeks after the school shooting when Pico broke it off- refusing to give a reason...

But Picos friendship will be enough. It has to be. He... He can't have more than a friendship with his ex- no matter how much he wants it, as Pico has made it clear that he doesn't want that.

That is, until his phone pings, that one specific ping he has set up for texts, and he grabs it, turning it on and...

What..?

Pico: I just don't know what to do

Pico: I want to hang out with him, not just leave him texting, constantly rejected whenever he asks for us to do something...

Pico:But it'd remind me of how we used to be. of what I can't help but miss.

Pico: What am I even supposed to do in this situation? I never thought I'd speak to him again.

And then, as he's reading it over for the 3rd time, slowly taking it in- he sees that Pico is typing.

Then it goes away. then it shows up again. and it's a pattern for about a minute before Bf begins to type.

Bf: Can we meet?
Bf:Today
Bf: I don't care where, just as long as its today
Bf: If not, Ig I could just hunt you down :)

There's radio silence for a good five minutes, and Bf is readying to go for the second option, pulling up his various contacts, ready to use all his resources to find Pico, when he sees the notification pop up, saying that Pico replied.

Pico: The park in one hour. don't be late or I'll leave.

Bf: :D
