Chapter 10: Leave The Team

I stood there, as I kind of stared down at the field that was in fact in front of me for quite a bit of some time, all at the exact same time too. As my eyes were in fact wide right now, at that. As I knew that it was that my mind was in fact in the clouds right at this very moment in time as well, never the less, all at once.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to realize that, all at the exact same time too, all at once. I then did in fact just seem to start to wake my self up, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. I knew that the rest of the guys had gone to take a piss before it was that practice was in fact to start today, never the less.
But I saw that right at this very moment in time too. That it was of course the fact that Denzel was in fact staring to walk on over to me, all at the exact same time as well. As I cracked a little bit of a smile on my face as soon as it was that I had in fact noticed as to the fact that it was him that was here, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare for quite a bit of some time, all at once. That was when, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. I then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, all at once.
And I then did in fact seem to start to all of the sudden see him nod to me, all at the exact same time too. I knew that it was that I was probably going to have to get closer to Denzel no matter what the case was. As I knew that if I was going to have to be a receiver, all at the exact same time too.
That I was going to have to guard him on out side runs, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that our coach was an old school coach. As it was that I had in fact heard of course, all at the exact same time too. Which I was quite sure that it was that it meant that there was going to be a lot of run plays, all at the exact same time too.
It might hurt my play time, but I kind of felt like it did not matter. I doubt that a bunch of college scouts were going to be looking at some sort of juvy school. As I knew that they wanted kids that did not cause a whole lot of trouble, all at the exact same time too.
With that kind of out of the question for me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. I then did in fact all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too, all at once. Then did in fact sort of start to all of the sudden realize that if I was going to go to college, it was going to have to my the grades that I needed to get up, not the football that I did in fact need to get up.
I kind of just sort of got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As in the end, I just kind of nodded back to Denzel all of the sudden, all at the exact same time as well. As it was clear to the both of us that I was in fact beginning to start to pay attention on to just what ever it was that he felt like he even needed to say to me in the very first place any ways, at that.
As it was that he had in fact noticed me do as such a thing like that of course, all at once. He then did in fact go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, at that. And he then did in fact just seem to start to continue to speak to me, all at once. I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time too.
"So... Are you ready to be the next quarterback for us? I mean the first week or so you might not get any play time... But the starter is going to get off the field and get released from juvy early on in the season... It'll just be all you from there..." He said to me, as he looked at me right in to my eyes, as soon as it was that he had in fact said as to just what it was that he had said to me, at that.
I was in fact a little bit shocked by just what it was that he had in fact said to me for one thing, as well as the fact that I was lost by just what it was that he had meant by that. I knew that I was not a quarterback! I had never done any thing like that in my life!
What was he talking about? I kind of just tilted my head a little bit, as soon as it was that he had in fact said as to just what it was that he had in fact said to me, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. As I was confused as to just why it was that he was saying that I was going to be a quarterback, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just squinted my eyes a little bit over towards him, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well, at that. And I then did in fact all of the sudden seem to start to shake my head a little bit over towards him, all at once.
I was fairly certain that he was in fact messing with me, just based off of the fact that he did in fact have a little bit of a smile on his face, all at the exact same time too, all at once. I still was not all too sure as to just why it was that he was in fact doing as such a thing like that, if it was that I was in fact going to be for real with my self, all at the exact name time too.
But I just kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, either which way that it just so happened to be, all at once, at that. As I then did in fact begin to start to speak to him, all at the exact same time too. To let him know that I was not all too sure as to just what it was that he was in fact getting at, all at the exact same time too.
He kind of just held the same smile that it was that he had on his face not all too much longer before now, all at the exact same time too, as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to continue to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. As in the end, he then luckily enough for me all of the sudden, at that. Did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once, and he then did in fact begin to start to nod to me. As it was clear that he was letting me know that at the very least, that he was in fact paying his full attention on to just what ever it was that I was about to say to him, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he had in fact kind of started to do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I then of course, did in fact just seem to start to continue to speak to him, all at the exact same time too. As I now knew that it was, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that I even felt like I even needed to say right back on over to him all of the sudden.
"What are you talking about? Coach knows that I am a receiver... Are you messing with me right now?" I said to him, all at the exact same time too, as I squinted my eyes over towards him, all at once. As it was clear that it was that I was not all too amused as to just what it was that he was even getting at right now, all of the sudden.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to continue to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, never the less, all at once. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact seem to just start to go right on ahead, all at once. And I then did in fact seem to start to blink my eyes a few times, all at once.
It was clear that he was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that I was in fact even getting at, all at the exact same time too. Such as it was that I kind of felt like I was feeling about him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, all at once.
I kind of just seemed to continue to stare at him right in to his eyes, all at the exact same time too. As it was that the both of us just seemed to start to stare at one another for a little bit more time, as it seemed like neither of us had a single clue as to just what it was that was going on right now. It kind of had me a little bit worried as to just what it was that was in fact even going on right at this very moment in time too, never the less, at that.
As it was that I had in fact kind of just seemed to stand there and stare at him for just a little bit longer, all at once, at that. That was when in the end, all at once, at that. I then did in fact just seem to start to notice that as it was that he had in fact blinked his eyes a few times, all at once. That he now was starting to under stand as to just what it was that I was in fact getting at, all at the exact same time as well, at that.
It kind of seemed to calm me down a little bit, but I still was not all too sure as to just what it was that he had meant at all, by just what it was that he had said to me, at that. I kind of just seemed to stand there, and I kind of just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time, all at once. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to begin to hear him, all at once, as he then did in fact begin to speak to me all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just stared right in to his eyes for a little bit more time, at that. As finally in the end, I just then did in fact seem to go right on ahead. And I then did in fact begin to start to nod right back on over to him, all at once, at that, never the less. As it was clear that it was that I was in fact beginning to start to pay attention on to just what ever it was that he was in fact about to say to me, all at once.
As soon as it was that he had in fact began to start to realize that it was in fact the case, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact begin to start to continue to hear his voice, as it was that he just seemed to continue to speak to me, all at once. I of course did in fact just seem to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact even feel like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, none the less.
"Uh... Did you not see the papers all over to place? They showed us what our roles were gonna be... I'm gonna be your running back of course..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As I of course noticed that he did in fact have his chin held high, due to the fact as to just what it was that he had in fact even just said to me, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just seemed to continue to stand there and stare at him for just a little bit longer, as I was in fact still in a  little bit of some shock as to just what it was that he had in fact said to me, all at once, at that. As I of course had in fact noticed as to the fact that there were some new pieces of paper all over to place all day. But I had not thought to look at it of course, due to the fact that it was usually just a bunch of useless stuff that they posted that did not matter at all what so ever to me, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just had my jaw dropped, as my eyes were a little bit wide as soon as it was that he had in fact said to me, all at the exact same time too. I still felt like it was not right, as I felt like I had liked the coach, and I had in fact respected him fairly well, all at the exact same time as well.
But there surely must have been some sort of mistake on the printer when ever he had made it right? He knew exactly who it was that I was even, and he knew exactly as to just what it was that I was in fact good at, all at the exact same time too.
I was never a quarterback, as I was not all too sure as to just what it was that he had in fact even been getting at, all at the exact same time too, either. As I just kind of seemed to stand there, and I kind of just seemed to stare for just a little bit more time. I did my best to just act as normal, and as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, as I knew that there was a mistake.
I felt like I simply could just fix it when ever it was that the coach was here, all at the exact same time too. Of course he knew about me, as I was all over the news, as I was the kid that got injured, and had fucked over his life. Yeah... That was me, the kid that was meant to be a superstar, as I had all of the traits to be one.
And whilst I might not be the same guy that I once was... I knew that at the very least, I still could at least be a decent receiver, as I knew that it was not all just about my speed, as I knew that I did in fact have amazing hands, all at the exact same time too. I knew that I could catch a pass in traffic, all at the exact same time as well.
I just kind of seemed to stand there, and I kind of just seemed to stare for a little bit longer, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As in the end, I just kind of began to start to shake my head a little bit on over to Denzel. As I felt like he had made some sort of mistake on just what it was that he had in fact just told me, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As I was sure that it was that he was wrong.
I did not mean to make it seem like I was degrading him at all, what so ever, all at the exact same time too. As I kind of noticed as to the fact that he now did in fact have his eyes squinted on over towards me, all at once. As I knew that my anger issues that had shown up after all of the drugs had still hit a few times. I did not want to make it seem like it was that I was angry with him at all right now, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I was not at all angry with him right now.
I was simply just lost, as I kind of began to start to breathe in a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once. And I then did in fact seem to start to all of the sudden notice him nod to me all of the sudden, at that. As I noticed of course that it was clear that at the very least, that he was in fact paying his full attention on to just what ever it was that I was about to say to him all of the sudden.
I kind of did my best to try to continue to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once. As I kind of just let out another little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to continue to speak back to him, all at the exact same time too. As I now knew that it was that he was in fact starting to listen as to just what ever it was that I felt like I even needed to say to him in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"No... You just be mistaken... I am a receiver... Not a quarterback..." I said to him, all at the exact same time as well, as it seemed like as soon as it was that I had in fact even just said as to just what it was that I had even said to him, all at the exact same time too. That was when my eyes did in fact just seem to start to fade in to never land, all at the exact same time as well.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at once. I was a little bit lost, as I could tell that so was Denzel, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that every one wanted to be a quarterback, as I knew that they were the ones that got paid the big bucks, and that they were the ones that did in fact have the longest careers, all at the exact same time too.
That was not what it was that I had wanted though, as I had always wanted to be a receiver. I did not want to be like every one else who wanted to be a quarterback. But now it seemed like I had not other choice but to accept what ever it was that was in fact going to me next, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that.
I kind of just stared to dip my head a little bit low to the ground, all at the exact same time too. As I was in fact about to go right on ahead and sit down on one of the benches, all at the exact same time too, at that. That was of course when all of the sudden, all at once, at that.
I then of course did in fact start to hear the familiar voice of the head coach of the team, all at the exact same time too, as it was clear that he was now speaking to both me and Denzel, all at once, at that. As it was clear that he had in fact over heard as to just what it was that I had in fact just said back to Denzel, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that.
I kind of just began to start to turn my head over to the coach, all at once. As it was that he just seemed to start to continue to go right on ahead, all at once and speak to me. As it was that I then did in fact go right on ahead of course, all at once. And I then did in fact just seem to go right on ahead and nod to him, all at once. As it was clear to the both of us at the very least, that I was in fact beginning to start to pay my full attention on to just what ever it was that he felt like he was about to say to me all of the sudden.
Of course, as soon as it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when he of course did in fact just seem to start to continue to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too. And he then did in fact seem to start to continue to speak to me, all at once, as I of course did in fact seem to just start to continue to listen as to just what ever it was that he felt like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Well Grant... You and me both know that you are not as fast as you once were... And not only that, but we have about 8 receivers on our team as it is right now... You had a decent arm... I think you are better suited as a quarterback... That is what we need..." He said to me, all at the exact same time too, as it was clear that he was in fact explaining as to just what it was that was even going on right now.
But at the exact same time too, as well, it also kind of felt like he was in fact putting the foot down, as it was clear that he was in fact letting me know that he was the coach of the team. It was not like the high school that it was that I had been at clearly. As I had been the super star, and the coach had in fact kind of just let me do what ever it was that I had in fact wanted to do, never the less, at that.
I kind of just stood there, and I kind of just stared for just a little bit more time, all at once. As in the end, I just got my mind, and I just got my focus off of all of the rest of that other stuff, all at the exact same time too. I kind of felt like it was not normal for me to be as rebellious as it was that I was being right now, all at the exact same time too, all at once.
But I of course decided that I was going to fight back a little bit as to just what it was that he was in fact saying to me, all at once, at that. As I kind of just squinted my eyes a little bit over towards the coach, all at the exact same time too, all at once. I then did in fact begin to start to speak to him, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. He of course squinted his eyes back on over to me, all at once, as it was clear that he was not all too happy as to just what it was that I was even going right now. As he just continued to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. It was at the very least clear that he was in fact paying his full attention to me right now, never the less.
Though, I still felt a little bit off about it if it was that I was not going to lie to my self right now, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As I then just kind of did in fact seem to start to continue to speak back to the coach, all at once. As I knew that it was at the very least, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what ever it was that I felt like I even needed to say to him in the very first place any ways, all at once, at that.
"But... Can't you just move some of them to corner backs? Or can I not at least be a tight end or some thing? I don't want to be a quarterback..." I said to him, all at the exact same time too, as I did my best to try to make sure that it did not seem like it was me that was in fact pouting, or it was that I was in fact whining as to the decision that it was that he had in fact made for me, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of felt like I had in fact made a bit of a fair point on just what it was that I had said to him. As I kind of felt like that might be able to change his mind, all at the exact same time too. I kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self all of the sudden, all at once, as I did my best to try to keep my self as calm, and as normal as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just kind of continued to stare at coach right in to his eyes, all at the exact same time too, all at once. That was when he just kind of began to start to shake his head a little bit over towards me, all at once, at that. As it was clear that this was not up to bickering or fighting about this, at that, never the less. As it was clear that he was about to speak up to me this one last time, at that.
I kind of just stared at him for a little bit more time, as I still felt a little bit disappointed about it all, if it was that I was not going to lie to my self either, all at the exact same time too. I just kind of continued to stand there, and I continued to stare for just a little bit longer, at that. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to all of the sudden nod to him, at that. To let it be know that I was in fact paying attention as to just what ever it was that he was about to say to me, at that.
As soon as it was that he had in fact seen me do as such a thing like that, all at once. He of course still had his eyes squinted at me, at that. As in the end, he then did in fact just seem to start to continue to speak to me, at that. As I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
"Your too small to be a tight end... Your not fast enough to be a receiver and you don't have the stamina... Grant... If you don't leave that, than you can always leave the team..."
