They were coming home; the Shelby brothers were on the train headed home. Imogen with Polly and Ada by her side, she waited with baited breath for the sound of the whistling train. Each woman held each a hand. Imogen squeezing tightly onto both women in comfort. During the four years, Polly had managed to keep the boys work running, Imogen had taken to keeping the Garrison open, along with her own shop, but Atticus was fifteen now, and he knew how to run a bar, so he took to work the front of the bar while his mother did the book work, they kept it going.
Imogen had left the twins at home, their magic was still a be reactive, especially when they were excited, they were especially excited as they knew their papa was coming home. They were that excited them set fire to the lounge. Imogen knowing it would happened stopped it before the house went in flames. The boys blushing in embarrassment. So Mimi was looking after them along with Elijah.
The three women froze as they heard the approaching train the loud whistle. As the train stopped men piled out of the train, all going to their families hugging them tightly, trying not to cry in the safety of their families arms. Imogen looked around scanning the crowd, when her emerald eyes zoned in on the sapphire eyes of her husband. Shaking softly, Imogen walked forward, before sprinting to him, lunging into his open arms.
"My King." She whispered holding tightly to him.
Tommy gripped tightly to his wife, not believing that she was here, "my Lily," he whispered as he pulled her face to his, just to look into her eyes. Neither caring that people could see them. "My Lily," he whispered again as he pulled her into a kiss, the two having longed to feel each other's lips. Dropping her feet back onto the floor Tommy held her hands in his. "I'm here, I'm home." He whispered.
"You're home." She whispered back as she wrapped herself into him.
"The boys?" He asked her.
Imogen smiled. "At home, they were a little too excited that their papa was coming home, their magic reacted to the emotion, didn't really want to have to erase people memories of our boys doing something unnatural." She explained, as Polly and Ada, with Arthur and John beside them joined the couple.
Tommy nodded to his Aunt as he pulled her into a hug, Ada joining in on the hug. Arthur and John each greeted Imogen hugging her and telling her of their trip back to Small Heath. Tommy and Imogen walked hand in hand, down the street to their own home. Unlocking the door they stepped in to hear two small voices arguing.
"I'm the oldest! I get to hug papa first!"
"That doesn't count! I'm the biggest!"
Imogen giggled hearing their boys arguing. "I could have sworn our boys were three my Lily." Tommy whispered to his wife.
Imogen looked up at her husband. "Tommy, our boys, are very gifted, smart and magically, they still bumble their words sometimes, but they know what they have to say." She answered as they walked upstairs. "Freddie! Georgie!" Imogen called out to her boys, Tommy heard their tiny feet slapping on the floor, as the two raven headed boys ran into the living room, eyes wide as they saw Tommy standing next to their Mumma.
The two looked at each other and then back at Tommy. "Papa!" They screeched as they ran at their father, jumping onto him.
Tommy smiled brightly as he held the two in his arms, Elijah and Atticus walking out to see the reunited family. Atticus smiled as he too ran over and hugged Tommy and the boys, happy to see him home. Elijah though stayed back unsure of what he should do, after all, his papa didn't come back home.
Tommy saw Elijah standing in the back and smirked before motioning for him to come here. Elijah smiled softly as he ran over to Tommy and hugged him as well. Imogen couldn't hold her tears back as she cried seeing her family together again. Imogen walked over taking George into her arms as they wrapped themselves into the hug. This was family, this was her home, Death had been right this was her time.
Later in the night Imogen and Tommy laid in their bed, staring into each other's eyes. Imogen's hand rested on his chest, feeling his heartbeat under it. Tommy's arms were wrapped around her waist as he kissed her head, "I've missed you so much." Tommy whispered into her ear.
"I've missed you so much too," Imogen responded as she tilted her head and kissed her husbands lips. The two moving in sync as the kiss deepened. Tommy's hands sliding her night dress up, his hands gripping her hips, the feel of her skin soothing his soul.
Damn had he missed her, damn had he missed the feel of her plump soft lips against his own. The kiss becoming heated as Imogen's hands slid around his neck, her breasts pushing into his chest, their hips grinding against each other. Lifting her dress, he threw the material to the floor leaving his wife in only her undergarments, her top half bare, kissing down her neck, his lips travelled to her breasts.
Imogen moaned softly as Tommy suckled her right breast, bloody hell did she miss this, Tommy slid further down her body, his tongue licking her tender skin. Slowly he peeled her undergarments off leaving her bare to him, both were lost in each other, Tommy watching his wife's panting form, she was beautiful in his eyes, with her vibrant emerald eyes, the way her body curved under his hands, she was perfect in every way.
Tommy was soon free of his own clothing, the two surrounding themselves in bliss. Their night was filled loving touches, they were back together, their love was the purest love, nothing would rip them a part, for if someone tried, Tommy would raise hell. But if someone tried to take Tommy from Imogen, they would wish for a painless death, because no one made the Mistress of Death sad, or Death would make you pay the price.
