Ⓘt's been almost a week and Tori still hadn't moved from her bed. She had witnessed the death of her friend, and the screaming, and yelling coming from Pipers family outside of the door. They had taken all of her stuff, and the bed was empty.
"Victoria it's been three days, you need to eat, speak, something." Daniel said.
She continued to just stare out the window. He stood in the doorway and sighed, "I can't keep doing this, I love you, but you're not speaking, you're not eating, nothing. I loved Piper too, I literally loved her. But I'm working on getting better."
She rolled over looking at him, her face was pale, she looked like she had been risen from the dead. Her small hairs sprawled all over the top of her head. "I don't want you here." she said.
"Tori that's not true."
"Get out! I don't want you at all!" she yelled.
Which wasn't true, she just felt like he was going to die on her too, and she didn't want to go through that either.
"Victoria." he pushed his hair back.
"Get out, now!" she rolled back over because she had started to cry.
His eyes widen astonished that she would do such a thing, he left.
She pulled herself out of bed, walking into the bathroom, grabbing her green knit hat pulling it on top of her practically bald head, leaving her face as it was. Makeup free and pale, she sat back on her bed and logging onto PreachIt.
She hit record.
Hi everyone,
as you all know I've been diagnosed with cancer, and recently my friend Piper passed away, she was truly one of the most amazing people, and very influential to my recovery, I know I've made a lot of mistakes, but so has everyone else but this is me signing off from PreachIt, and removing myself from any sort of list, because that's not how it should be. I myself Victoria sincerely apologize to anyone I've ever upset and or hurt. My last thing is try and be positive, love yourself, and love others. Okay bye.
She hit end posting the video.
She shut her laptop placing in onto her nightstand.
Austin walked in.
"Hey, I heard about your friend."
"You did, huh?"
"Yeah, how are you feeling T?"
"Horrible, you shouldn't be here."
"I want to be."
"Unfortunately I don't want you here. I just broke up with Daniel the best thing that's ever happened to me, I don't need you here if anyone it's him."
"I think she asked you to leave." Caroline said walking in with Samantha.
"Sam!! Come here girl." She opened her arms.
"Hi aunt Torwee." She climbed onto the bed, and they started to chat.
Caroline took her jacket off reveling her larger than ever stomach.
"Austin darling can I talk to you out in the hall?"
He glanced at Tori, then back at Caroline and nodded.
"Listen I get you love her. Or you think you do." Caroline dropped the petty voice.
"I want her."
"Well you lost her, and confusing her into wanting you at a vulnerable state is a shit move."
"That wasn't my intention, I..."
