Starting Your Journey As A Christian

To be saved you must realize you are a sinner in need of a savior.
To go on the right path you should repent and ask for forgiveness.
Being a christian doesn't mean that you won't stumble or fall into sin again but that your heart will change and you will work harder towards getting closer to the Lord and you must accept Jesus as your savior.
If you want to turn away from sin and serve the Lord you can start by saying this prayer :

Lord Jesus, I know I'm a sinner but You died on the cross and shed Your blood for every sin I have ever committed. I'm sorry for that sin and I turn from it now. I ask You to come into my life and be my Savior, my Lord, my God, and my Friend. I choose to follow You from this moment forward. Thank You for calling me, accepting me, and forgiving me. In Jesus name I pray, amen."

You may be thinking "Okay I accepted the Lord into my life and I want to turn away from sin , what is the next step?"

Now here are some steps to grow closer to God :

*Spend time with God each day , develop the habit of reading your bible and praying and if you dont have a bible you can download the app.
*Spread the gospel.
*Find a local church that you can attend to meet other believers and worship God.
*Plan on getting baptized.
*Ask God to give you knowledge and increase your faith.
