Chapter 3: Nice Shot!

I stood there, as I stared at Pearce, as he stared down his man that he was about to have to guard all game. As this was in fact tip off of course, as this was going to be a big decision for the entire game, at that. As I hoped that we won this, so not only good we try to get off to a hot start.
But also the fact that I knew that it did in fact mean that it was that we were in fact going to get the ball first in the 4th quarter, at that. As much as it was that I felt like this team was really had. I also knew that so was my team, so for all that it was that I knew, we could in fact be worse than them.
This was going to be a big test as to just how it was that the rest of the season was going to go for us. As this team was out of conference, and they were a bit of a smaller school than us, all at the exact same time too. Which kind of felt weird to say, considering the fact that they had over twice as many plays on their bench than we did.
I kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too. And I then did in fact begin to start to nod to my self, all at the exact same time as well.
I got my mind, and I got my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that it was that I had in fact even been thinking on long before now, all at the exact same time too. As it was that I had in fact just kind of thought on the fact that I knew as to the fact. That I knew that I needed to be thinking on the game right now, rather than all of that other stuff.
I blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time as well, as I then did in fact just start to all of the sudden notice, all at once. That it was that the referee that was in fact in the middle of the court with Pearce and the other guy right now, at that. He was in fact beginning to start to go right on ahead, all at once. And he was in fact beginning to start to blow his whistle, at that.
As it was that he had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. As it was clear that he was trying to get every ones attention on him, all at once. He then did in fact go right on ahead, and he did in fact begin to start to speak to Pearce and the other player who was just a few inches taller than Pearce.
Pearce did not look scared what so ever how ever, as I knew that he played football of course. As he just simply kept his eyes on the ref, all at the exact same time too, at that. As he then did in fact seem to just start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well, and he then did in fact begin to start to nod on ahead to the ref, all at once, at that. As it was clear to us all, that it was that he was letting the ref know that he at the very least was in fact paying attention to him, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that he had in fact done as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. I then did in fact see the other kid do the same as Pearce, all at once, at that. As the ref simply just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead and speak to the both of them, all at the exact same time too. As I of course, did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what it was that the man had to say to the both of them, all at the exact same time as well.
"Alright you 2, fair game, fair match... Are you ready?" He said to the both of them, all at the exact same time as well, all at once. As I kind of wondered if it was that Pearce was going to do some thing stupid, such as it was that it kind of felt like he usually did, all at the exact same time too, and say some thing stupid back to the man, at that.
But luckily enough for us all how ever, I just saw that the both of the guys did in fact nod in unison, as to just what it was that the ref had in fact just said to the both of them, all at once. As I kind of just let out a little bit of some sort of soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, as soon as it was that I had in fact seen the both of them do that.
As just as soon as it was that they did in fact do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too. That was when the ref then did in fact begin to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, all at once. And he began to start to line him self up in position for the tip ball, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I kind of let out a little bit of a heavy sigh to my self, as soon as it was that I did in fact begin to start to notice, and I did in fact begin to start to realize as to just what it was that was in fact going on right now, at that. As I kind of just did my best to try to block out all of the noise that was in fact the crowd, and every thing else that was in fact going on right now.
As soon as it was that I had in fact felt like I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, all at once. That was when in the end, all at the exact same time as well. I then did in fact begin to start to notice that the ball was now all of the sudden in the air, all at the exact same time too.
I was in fact a little bit shocked, and I was in fact a little bit surprised at first, for some odd reason or another, all at the exact same time too. But in the end, I just then did in fact begin to start to notice all at once, of course. That the both of the guys did in fact just up to go right on ahead and swat the ball to one of their team mates, all at the exact same time as well.
As I saw that much to my surprise, even with the small little height disadvantage, all at the exact same time too, at that. It was clear that Pearce had in fact won the jump ball, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As I the  did in fact begin to start to notice, that all at once, at that. That the ball was in fact going right towards one of our team mates, at that.
As he had won the jump ball, but he had sadly hit it to the wrong person, all at the exact same time too. As I saw that it was in fact, Peter who did in fact have the ball in his hands right now, all at the exact same time too. As he was sadly the worst of the twins, all at the exact same time too, and it was clear that he was not all too sure as to just what it was that he should do with the ball, as it was clear that he was not used to being in this spot.
I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at once, at that. As I then did in fact begin to start to speak up to him, to get his attention on me. Of course, before it was that some one on the other team noticed what he was doing. And he got the ball snatched from him, all at the exact same time as well.
I kind of just seemed to stand there and stare for just a little bit more of some time, all at once. As I saw that he did in fact begin to start to get his eyes on to me, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. As I saw that it was that he was in fact at the very least beginning to start to pay his full attention on to just what ever it was that I was in fact about to say to him, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact at the very least kind of noticed as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, never the less. That was when in the end, I just did in fact seem to start to continue to speak to him, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that it was that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I did in fact feel like I even needed to say to him in the very first place any ways, at that, never the less.
"Peter... Over here!" I said to him, all at the exact same time too, as I saw that his eyes did in fact seem to get back to normal, all at the exact same time too, as soon as it was that he had in fact just seemed to notice as to the fact as to just what it was that I had in fact said to him all of the sudden, at that.
As it was that he had in fact clearly heard as to just what it was that I had in fact just said to him, all at the exact same time as well, never the less. That was when in the end, all at the exact same time too, at that. He then did in fact begin to start to toss the ball over to just where it was that I was even at, all at the exact same time too.
As of course it was in fact a terrible pass over to me, but luckily the other team was too busy getting back on defense to be able to do any thing about it, all at once. As I just kind of began to start to grab the ball before it was that it went out of bounds, all at the exact same time too, all at once.
Luckily I just managed to snatch it just before it was that it had in fact got to that point, all at the exact same time as well, as I let out a little bit of a soft sigh of some sort of relief to my self, all at once, at that. Now that it was that I did in fact have the ball in my hands, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that it was time for me to do some work, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact began to start to run up the court with the ball in my hand, I luckily got past the half court mark before it was that I ran out of time, and had an 8 second violation called on me, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of just began to start to look over to Xavier who was on the bench just beside me right now, at that.
I saw him roll his eyes, as he felt like it was really stupid as to just what it was that had in fact just seemed to happen right then in there, at that. As I just kind of rolled my eyes back towards him, all at the exact same time too. As I was in fact about to look away from him, all at the exact same time too. That was until I then did in fact begin to start to notice that he was signaling a play call in his hand right now.
It was a screen and roll, as it was not one for me to get to the basket for a lay up, as it was simply just one that was meant to be used for the fact that it was that I knew was supposed to get an open man out on the perimeter, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just blinked my eyes a few times, all at once, at first, as in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once.
And I just then did in fact seem to start to all of the sudden nod right on ahead and to him, at that. As it was clear that I was in fact letting him know as to the fact that it was that I had in fact noticed as to just what it was that he had in fact been getting at, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I kind of just did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. As in the end, I just then did in fact begin to start to yell to my team mates, all at once. As it was in fact the code word for the play that it was that we were about to start off the game with, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just began to start to yell on ahead of them, all at once, at that. I noticed they then did in fact all begin to start to turn their heads on over to me, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was in fact clear to me that right at this very moment in time too. That it was that they all were in fact beginning to start to pay attention as to just what it was that I was about to say, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to notice as to the fact that all of my team mates were in fact beginning to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when I did in fact begin to just start to continue to go right on ahead, and I continued to speak to them, all at the exact same time as well. As it was that I knew that they were in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I felt like I even needed to say to them, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, at that.
"Ice cold 7! Ice cold 7!" I said to them all, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As it seemed like every one was in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that I was getting at right now, all at the exact same time too. As I noticed that all of my team mates did in fact just seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that.
They then began to start to tilt their heads as to just what it was that I had in fact said to them, all at the exact same time too, all at once. As it was in fact clear that it was that they were in fact a little bit lost as to just what it was that I had even said. As it seemed like all of the plans, and all we had done in practice just the other day, had in fact seemed to be for nothing, all at the exact same time too.
I was worried that it was that they were in fact completely lost as to just what it was that I was even getting at, all at the exact same time too, at that. As it was that it seemed like this was just going to have to be some sort of street ball play that I was going to have to make up by my self, all at the exact same time too, all at once.
As I did in fact hear some kid on the side line of the other team, all at the exact same time too. As it was clear that he was in fact lost as to just what it was that was going on as well, due to the fact that my team was not doing any thing at all right now. As he just seemed to yell to his team mates to try to warn them as to just what it was that I was in fact about to go right on ahead and do, all at the exact same time as well.
I kind of just looked at the kid from the corner of my eyes. As I made sure just to keep my eyes in front of me mainly, and my eyes on the ball, at that. As I was in fact still a little bit interested to hear as to just what it was that the kid was about to say. As I was in fact of course, beginning to start to pay attention as to just what it was that the guy even had to say, all at the exact same time as well, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. That was when the kid just then did in fact seem to start to continue to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well. And he of course did in fact just seem to continue to speak, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Hey! Be careful y'all! The midget is going to do an iso! Be careful of that, he might be fast!" He said to his team mates, all at the exact same time too, as I was not all too sure as to just how it was that I should take as to just what it was that the guy had just said, all at the exact same time too.
As a part of me wanted to be mad, as I always hated it when ever it was that some one did in fact refer to me as a midget, all at the exact same time as well, as I was in fact tempted to turn my head to the kid. And I was in fact tempted to squint my eyes a little bit angrily at the guy, all at the exact same time too, at that.
But it also kind of felt like he might have been complementing me, and also letting him team mates know that of course. That they did in fact need to be weary of the fact that it was that I might be fast. And that it was that I might be able to find some way to get around their defense, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I wondered if that might be a good idea, as I remembered them being awful at guarding that in the tapes that it was that I had in fact seen from them, at that.
I kind of just sort of got my mind, and my focus off of all of that, all at once, as in the end, I then did in fact seem to start to get my focus on to just what it was that was in fact even going on right in front of me right now. Which I of course did in fact just seem to start to notice that one person in specific on my team. Who of course was not the one who was actually set to do the screen for me, did in fact step in to do it, all at the exact same time too.
My eyes were in fact a little bit wide, as it was that I did in fact seem to start to stare, Cody right in to his eyes for just a little bit of some time. Was in fact a little bit shocked, and I was in fact a little bit surprised as to just what it was that was even going on right at this very moment in time any ways. But either which way it just so happened to seem to be, I did in fact go with it, all at the exact same time too.
Even if it was that he was not as big and as strong as some one like Pearce of Oliver who were in fact on the court right now. He was strong enough to hold off the man that it was that I was in fact guarding, all at the exact same time too, never the less.
As in the end, the Shooting Guard for the other team, who I could tell was not as fast as the point guard, was now on me all of the sudden. I knew that Xavier had called a play to pass it to an open man for a 3, or a mid range jumper. But I felt like, with Cody being the only other person on the court that it was that it did in fact seem like could in fact shoot the 3 right now.
He obviously kind of had a man on him right now, I felt like it might be best for me to go on ahead and run to the lane, and try to catch the other team off guard, all at the exact same time as well, all at once. As I made sure to be quick, as I knew that basketball was not a game that it was that you could simply hesitate on what so ever, all at the exact same time too.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to wake my self up to that, all at the exact same time as well, I then began to run towards the paint. As I of course noticed at the last second, all at the exact same time too. That it was of course the center that was now up on me, all at the exact same time too, that could easily block my puny lay up attempt, at that.
I looked over to Oliver, all at the exact same time too, as I expected him to be open. But I was surprised to notice that it was that the defense was in fact quick to switch up, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I kind of began to start to panic at the last second, all at the exact same time as well. Which I knew for a fact meant for a not so good ending, all at the exact same time too.
I looked around for about half a second, as I knew that there was about 3 to 4 seconds on the clock, and I needed to make a quick decision, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I just kind of began to start to breathe in quite a bit heavily, all at once. As I then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of one of my team mates, all at the exact same time too, as it was clear that they were in fact yelling to me right now, all at the exact same time too.
I was a little bit lost for just about half a second, all at the exact same time as well, as I then suddenly turned my head over to just who it was that was in fact speaking right now. As I saw that it was in fact Peter. As I of course then did in fact nod to him, to let him know that it was. That I was of course beginning to start to pay my full attention on to just what ever it was that he was about to say to me.
I knew that time was ticking off the clock, and we were about to run out of time. But that seemed to not matter at all to me, at that, never the less. As it was that Peter did in fact still continue to yell towards me, all at the exact same time as well. I of course did in fact begin to start to listen as to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me in the very first place any ways, all at the exact same time too, at that.
"Out here! I'm open!" He yelled to me, all at the exact same time too, as I once again. Knowing that basketball was not a thing for me to hesitate on what so ever, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. Then did in fact begin to start to throw a bullet pass to him in the corner, all at the exact same time too, all at once.
Even if it was that I knew that he for sure was not a 3 point shooter what so ever, at that. I knew that for a fact, all at the exact same time too, that it was better than me trying to some how throw up a shot over a guy that was far over a foot taller than me, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of just began to start to look on over to Peter in the corner, who now had the ball in his hand, all at the exact same time too. As there of course was in fact less than 2 seconds left on the shot clock, all at the exact same time too, at that. As I knew that he needed to let it go right now, or we were about to have a shot clock violation, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of seemed to stand there and stare at him for just a little bit more time, all at the exact same time as well, as of course my eyes were in fact quite a bit wide with just what it was that was in fact even going on right at this very moment in time too. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, and I saw the ball release from his hand, as he made sure to get a good footing behind the 3 point line, all at the exact same time as well, all at once.
As i then noticed that the ball was in fact now in the air, all at the exact same time too, all at once, at that. I watched the basketball then sail over my head, all at the exact same time too. As I felt like I should be prepared to get a rebound right now, but I was so lost with the sound of the buzzer going off, all at the exact same time as well, that I did not get my self in to position to try to snatch a rebound, all at the exact same time too.
Not that it would have mattered any ways, with the center being right on top of me right now. And also the fact that I was fairly certain that this shot was in fact going to be an air ball, all at the exact same time as well. I kind of just breathed in another little bit of a soft sigh as the ball went over my head, and then.
I saw that much to my shock, the ball did in fact go right in to the net, all at the exact same time too. As it did not even seem to graze the rim, all at the exact same time as well. I was in such shock as to the fact that it was that he had in fact made a shot like that, all at the exact same time too.
That I just seemed to stare at Peter right in to his eyes, all at the exact same time too, at once. As it seemed like he did not seem to be in any sort of shocked at all right now. As it almost seemed like he knew for a fact that the shot that he had just went at was in fact going to go down no matter what the case was, all at the exact same time as well, never the less, once again.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there and stare for just a little bit more time, all at once. That was when I once again woke my self up, all at the exact same time too. As I knew that basketball was in fact a quick sport, and I could not stay here. As I knew that I needed to get back on defense, all at the exact same time too.
How ever, on the way by, I felt like I could not at the very least help but to pat Peter on the back as he went to go over to his man. As I then as well, all at the exact same time too, at that. Did in fact begin to start to whisper to him, all at the exact same time as well, right as it was that he did in fact seem to head past me all of the sudden.
"Nice shot!"
