The streets and the intersection where the tank is parked are still crowded with walkers. More of them swarm a corpse. Many are leaving the tank to eat the person’s remains. A few still beat on the top hatch.

“Officer Dipshit, what the hell did I say about guns?” She said, frustrated, running a hand through her hair.

Glenn slaps her arm, “Not the time!” he scolds and snatches the CB from her hand, “Hey, are you alive in there?”

“Hello? Emiko? Hello?” Rick responds.

“There you are. You had us wondering.” Glenn smirks.

“Where are y’all? Outside? Can you see me right now?” he asks frantically.

“Yeah, we can see you. You’re surrounded by walkers. That’s the bad news.” Glenn replies.

Emiko slapped him upside the head, “Dude, you just made him think that there’s good news!”

He slapped her arm back, “Is that a bad thing?”

“Yes!” She snatched the CB back.

“There’s good news?” Rick said hopefully.

The woman glared at Glenn, “No. My fellow idiot was being stupid.”

“Listen, whoever you are, I don’t mind telling you I’m a little concerned here.”

“You should see it from over here. You’d be having a major freak-out.” She chuckled.

“Got any advice for me?” Rick said with annoyance.

“Yeah, Sheriff Woody, make a run for it.” She said, amused. Glenn snickered at the nickname.

“That’s it? Make a run for it?” Rick asked in disbelief.

“Our way’s not as dumb as it sounds. You’ve got eyes on the outside here.” She said, rolling her eyes, and handed Glenn the CB.

“There’s one geek still up on the tank but the others have climbed down and joined the feeding frenzy where the horse went down.  You with me so far?” Glenn continued as she pulled her hair in a tight bun at the nape of her neck, quietly waiting by the chain link gate.

“So far.” Rick sighs.

“Okay, the street on the other side of the tank is less crowded.  If you move now while they’re distracted, you stand a chance.  Got ammo?” Glenn asks.

“In that duffel bag I dropped out there, and guns. Can I get to it?” She facepalmed.

Glenn rolls his eyes, “Forget the bag, okay? It’s not an option. What do you have on you?”

“Hang on.” There was a brief pause, “I’ve got a beretta with one clip, 15 rounds.”

“Make ‘em count. Jump off the right side of the tank, and keep going in that direction. There’s an alley up the street, maybe 50 yards. Emiko’s gonna get you a clear path. Be there.” Glenn said and she quietly slipped out from the gate, grabbing an ax on the way out

There were a few walkers roaming near the fence, she stabbed one in the head as she threw a knife at another. Emiko grabbed her knives and took the ax and started decapitating walkers. She heard the sound of gunshots getting closer and Rick ran up, into the alley, shooting as he went. He looks at her and she nodded towards the fence, “Go, I got this”
