you're waiting in the doctors waiting room when you get a text from chris.
both of you had started to become closer at school, but had never really texted eachother other than that.
you open the text, and respond.

you shove your phone into your pocket, and go see the doctor.

you get into your car, and check your phone.
you had 4 unread messages from chris, which read:
"whatchu sick for, r u dying, schools boring without you wtf, can u come back," and lastly, "Y/N ANSWERRR"
it shocked you that although you guys had started to get comfortable with eachother, this was the first time you were actually texting.

you start to drive back home, then your phone starts to ring.
while you reach a stoplight, you answer it.
"chris.."
"oh my god you're alive."
"very funny. what do you need?"
"nothing. i was just bored. as usual."
you set your phone down, and leave it on speaker.
"you're gonna make me crash chris." you laugh.
"are you driving?"
"maybe."
"oh. my bad. don't make any plans later tonight then, i still wanna call."
"okay, okay."
"okay, i'll call you later then."
you end the call, and notice a little smile on your face.
you we're kinda excited to call him later, although you didn't wanna admit it.
