The chilling breeze blew where the moon was smiling at its people especially to those who remained outside the comfort of their own homes. The sky was clear from any obstructions, making the twinkling stars visible to anyone who would look up to admire the beauty of nature.

It was a typical night.

Also, a typical night inside the Forger's home.

For a common household, the Forgers didn't look different from any decent family but when inspected closely down to the tiniest information that no one could suspect for a redacted confidential file, this was no typical household.

The father, Loid Forger, a psychiatrist, was busy in the kitchen to prepare the most delicious dish he could make for his family's dinner. A happy smile was painted on his lips while humming a tune like a magic ingredient that was added to the simmering dish.

It was not really a skill of his but for the pretend family, the talent oozed out from his endless skills for being a spy, an identity he had been keeping, the very reason to why he found himself in a humble home with a wife and a daughter.

Known by the codename, Twilight, Loid was hunting his enemies one by one and his mission now that landed him to be the father of a household was to keep the peace between the East and the West and perhaps, the world.

But for this night, he was a father and husband.

Another smile crept to his lips when he heard the joyful cheers of his daughter who was enjoying the warm bath her mother prepared for her.

Anya Forger.

An orphan who had the ability to read minds, Loid adopted her, a tool for him to infiltrate an elite school where he could possibly get close to his enemy.

Anya played with the bubbles formed in her bath as her dog, Bond, chose to lay beside the tub while waiting for his owner to finish her bath. She wanted to play more however, her stomach crumbled to ask for her favorite peanuts but she knew very well that her parents would say no especially Loid. A proper dinner should come first.

"Mama!" She yelled to catch her mother's attention whose reminder was to call her when Anya finished her bath.

Inside the bedroom different from Loid due to sleeping arrangements of a pretend family, Yor Forger was arranging the clothes she picked up from the laundry shop. She wanted to make sure that every fabric was clean before she would give it to Loid and Anya.

Yor was a civil servant at the city hall, got convinced that her only way to be cleared from the list of suspicious ladies just because they remained single at late twenties, she agreed to a decision to be Loid's fake wife. It was also to cover her true identity as the Thorn Princess - an assassin.

She got fond of having Loid and Anya in her life, trying her best to be a great wife and mother. She was terrible at cooking but she was trying so badly because not able to do things inside the household made her feel bad.
