Chapter 1

I woke up at 9 am because I needed to help with the preparation of the party this evening. It's not that I asked for it my mom made me do it. She said there would be a boy of my age. I hope he's cute.
"Honey can you run to the store and get everything on this list?" Mom asked giving me a list. I didn't want to but it was that or preparing the food.
"Yeah sure" I went to my room and put on some ripped jeans and a tank top. While I was walking to the store because it was a 10 minute walk I looked at what was on the list. I hope I have enough money with me.

While I was looking for the last thing on the list I accidentally bumped into someone. "Omg I'm so sorry" I said still looking at the ground. When I looked up there was standing a boy with brown hair and brown eyes. He looked Asian though.

"It's okay" he smiled. Was that an Australian accent? God what was his smile cute. He looked not bad though. I didn't realize I was staring.

"Like what you see?" He said with a smirk on his face.
"Don't be all cocky now" I said laughing. By now he was laughing too. Damn even his laugh is beautiful. Wait what am I doing I don't even now this guy and I probably won't even see him again.

"Well I have to go" I said. Did I see disappointed in his eyes? Nah I probably just see things.
"Same, bye!" He said with again his gorgeous smile.

"Bye!" I said waving. When he was walking away a group of girls were running towards him screaming and taking selfies. Weird. When I paid for all the stuff I went home. While I was walking I put on some music.

I was listening to don't stop from 5 seconds of summer. I didn't know them nor did I know how they looked but a friend told be about them and I really liked their music.

When I came home I put the bags on the kitchen table. I went searching for my mom. She was preparing the food.

"Can I help with something?" I asked hoping she would say no so I could watch tv and go on Twitter.

"Yes actually you can," fuck. I hope it isn't something with much effort. I slept for like 4 hours. Don't blame me, blame Twitter and all the other social media.

"Can you make a playlist of music we can play tonight? Please keep it appropriate music." Mom said. Yes I love music! I ain't gonna lie though it's hard to find music without something inappropriate in it.

I chose 5 numbers of 5sos and the rest was just some random music. The rest of the day I just watched tv and tweeted random stuff.

In about an hour all the guests were coming. The party had no reason. We sometimes just threw a party and normally my friends would come but my mom said that this time they weren't allowed to come. She said there would be someone famous. Probably just a writer or something like that.

It was already getting dark outside. I went upstairs to put on my dress. It wasn't a classy dress just a party dress. I wanted to look nice I don't know why.

I put on some mascara and a little bit of lipgloss. When I was ready the bell rang and I heard my mom open the door.

I heard some voices and laughs. I went downstairs to say hi and saw my mom talking to a woman and next to the woman there was standing a boy.

He had a black hoodie on and sunglasses. Weird it's dark outside why does he has sunglasses on?

While I was walking towards them he put off the sunglasses and the cap of his hoodie. Omg it was that guy from the store.

"Hi I'm Kaitlyn" I smiled. The guy stared at me.
"Hi I'm joy and this is my son calum" she smiled.

Calum nodded still staring. Why was this kid staring at me? I know I met him at the store but was that a reason for staring.

My mom and joy went outside to talk and catch up. There was an awkward silence.
"Like what you see?" I winked coping him like he did at the store.
"Don't be all cocky now" he said coping me. He was smiling.

my heart skipped a beat. Damn if that boy only knew what he was doing to me.

~~Calum's pov~~
Damn she was beautiful. I liked it that she didn't freak out at the shop. Don't get me wrong I love my fans but it's nice to talk to a girl that's not screaming.

"Wanna go upstairs?" She asked. I nodded and we went to her room. Her room was so neat.

It was decorated with Polaroid pictures and tiny lamps. I looked at the photos and saw her, her mother and a guy. Probably her father.

"That's my dad" she said with a weak smile.
"He died 3 years ago" damn didn't expect that. Well I actually was curious why her dad wasn't at the party.

"Oh I'm sorry" I said. She smiled at me. God even in the saddest moment I can't think of something else than her beauty.

"It's okay it's been awhile" she said walking towards her bed. I walked over and sat next to her.

"So tell me something about yourself" she said. Okay I need to find a way to not tell her I'm in a band. I don't want to change the way she looks at me. I will just tell the truth leaving the whole famous thing out.

"Well I'm Calum Hood my middle name is Thomas and I love soccer" I said looking at the ground afraid that she would see that I'm hiding something.

"Okay go on" she said. Damn this girl is curious.
"I love music and I sing a little bit" I said looking at her. Her eyes widened and her smile became bigger.

"Sing something for me!" She said amused.
"Okay which song?" I said laughing at her sudden excitement.

"Uhm... good girls of 5 seconds of summer" my eyes widened. Did she know who I was?
"Uhm do you know them?" I asked.

"No not really I only know there music" I let out a sigh of relief. I hope she won't recognize my voice. I started signing and she just listened with an amused look on her face.

When I ended the song she clapped. I laughed and bowed.
"Your voice is almost the same as one of the singers of 5sos" she said. Dammit I hoped she wouldn't recognize it.

"Really? You're the first one to say" I said hoping she would believe me. She nodded and stood up.

~~Kaitlyn's pov~~
His singing was beautiful. Why isn't he a singer?

"Wanna come downstairs and dance?" I asked. He nodded and followed me to downstairs.

Wow there were a lot of people. Probably all friends of my mum. We went outside where the people were dancing.

While I was dancing I noticed that calum was staring again. I just ignored it and kept on dancing. After the song was finished 'good girls' started.

"Hey that's what you just sang!" I said smiling at calum. He looked a bit nervous.
"Hey Calum maybe you should sing this live instead of on the computer!" A man yelled.

What was he talking about? Calum smiled nervously at me.
"What was that about?" I asked but before he could answer someone else did.

"Don't you know? He's in a band called 5 seconds of summer" the same guy said that was yelling a moment ago.

I looked confused at Calum.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I said a bit angry.
"I'm sorry but I thought you would treat me different if you knew I was, you know, famous" I was a bit angry though, he did lie to me.

"I'm not that kind of person Calum" I said.
"Are you mad at me?" He asked me with puppy eyes. Oh god how can I be angry at such a cute person.

"No but don't lie to me again okay?" He nodded and we continued dancing.
