31; Forget It

ZHUBAO

"Wakey wakey, babe!!" It was Ji carrying a table to give me a breakfast in bed, he is a great husband, and caring, too. He sat beside me and arranged everything, "We will have breakfast in bed!"

I pouted and then joked, "I thought these are only mine..."

"Just kidding, you can eat it all..." He moved infront me and started pouring some milk on my coffee. "Eat a lot, babe, okay?"

"We can share everything on these plates, I can't eat these all." I smiled and took the utensils, I showed him the fork with a bacon and shoved it on his mouth. "There you are..."

"Thank you, babe." He smiled, "Thank you for everything, thank you because you are here. Thank you that you chose me after all the things I've done, just because I wanted you so bad..."

"Those things are in the past and nothing can change it anymore..."

Flashback

"Who told you to enter my office once again?" I asked him with a furious face. "How many times do I have to tell you that I still haven't come up with all those things happen. Your father doesn't like me and that's the end of it."

"Why don't you just let me fight for our love, can't we do it together, Zhubao?" He asked, "Why the hell do you keep pushing me away while I know that you still feel the same—"

"No! I don't feel the same way anymore. Now, you can leave, and don't you ever come back!" I pointed the door, he stared at me with all the tears falling from his eyes and furiously left me alone. "I did that for your own good, maybe we are really made for each other. But this is not the right time for us to be together..."

I wasn't on myself, but I drove after him because I heard him wreaking everything at the entrance of the company. I didn't know he could do that, in just an hour. He pulled over on a bar, so I followed him inside secretly, I saw Zhang Zeyu having a jam with his co-engineers but just nodded at Ji who walk towards the other side.

Ji sat on the corner of the bar and called for a lot of drink; I went on the side to hide while watching him drink a lot. In just an hour, a guy approached him while laughing. "Why, your Zhubao left you alone?" the tone of the guy was pissing me off as well, but I kept putting it away.

"What do you want?" Ji arrogantly asked, full of sarcasm in his voice, his face was blank, and his eyes we're dark, all I can feel now is fear about what he could do next.

I stood up from where I am and blocked that guy's fist, that almost landed on my boyfriend's face. "Dare to touch my property, and you're dead, boyyo..."

"Well, Zhubao, you're here..." It gives me chills seeing his face infront of me, all I can see is red.

How is he here?!

End of Flashback

"Now I realized, that was the hardest event of my life. I cannot even control myself, and I never knew I could do that." I sighed.

Flashback

I stood up and clenched my jaw when I saw Zhubao's reaction, "I knew that he was here, and he is alive. Now, I am sorry I didn't even tell you about it..."

"What—" before she could finish her words, a loud deafening gunshot made me freeze from where I am standing, I saw her slowly falling at the ground while vomiting blood. All I can see is red, is this the end?

In the second I gained my energy, I instantly kneeled down the ground and carried her lump body that is now full of blood. I can feel that she is breathing, her eyes are widely open, staring at me. "Ji..."

"Zhubao..." I called her name as she held my cheek with her blood in it, "Zhubao please don't leave me, I can't live without you. I am nothing without you..."

She genuinely smiled despite of all the blood she is losing right now, she shook her head. "Who said I am going to die right now, idiot, I need to marry you first."

"What do you mean, you just told me that you don't feel the same anymore—"

"And you believed me?" that's when she slowly let go of my cheek and her hand fell on the ground, I can hear the ambulance and the police siren, but I was frozen still, staring at her.

The doctors and nurses took her from my arms and ran away carrying her body on a stretcher, I was frozen when Zeyu approached me. "Ji, let's go. We need to follow her to the hospital..." I can hear him, but I cannot even understand what he was saying.

He pulled over in front the hospital and pulled me off inside the car, but then I bumped on someone at the emergency room. I turned to see Zeyu that is running away when I got the chance to pull him on the restroom carrying a sharp surgical equipment and stabbed that guy to death. It was too late when I saw Zeyu staring at me from outside, but I didn't know that guy beside Zeyu would approach me and pull another guy to be the blame.

"You will be the one to blame on this crime..."

The guy who was pulled just nodded, and when the nurse who approached me, tapped my shoulder. "W-why did you do this—"

"Because I know you are just not on your sane..." I nodded at him, but I know that was not a valuable reason to point an innocent guy on someone's responsibility.

Zeyu pulled me outside the hospital, wearing his bloody clothes since I transferred some blood at him using my arm. "Zeyu, I just murdered someone..."

"You're not going to jail, neither those two guys we faced earlier. I know them, they will just clean your mess and that place will be unidentified." He sighed. "You killed the guy who deserves it, and the autopsy will be pampered..."

End of Flashback

"Babe, what does Zeyu means about you killed the guy who deserves it?" I asked in curiousness.

She stared at me, with her blank appearance, she shook her head and blinked twice, "I have no clue..."

"Well, just forget it..." I shrugged.
