Musical Robot (MLP:EG Fanfic)

Chapter 1: The Discovery

"Why are we even digging through this dumpster?" Pinkie Pie said as she and Rainbow Dash were digging through a dumpster.

"Well, you know what they say! One ponies trash is another ponies treasure!" replied Rainbow Dash, she started digging through the dumpster, she saw alot of things, there was a used diaper, some pizza boxes, and just your average everyday trash. However, as she was digging deep down, she felt some kind of metal. She reached down and pulled out some kind of robot.

"What is this?" said Rainbow Dash, confused at the sight of this damaged hunk of metal. its head was some kind of TV with a cracked screen, it had blocky headphones on the sides of its head, and its body resembled a jukebox---except there was a yellow pixelated musical note where its midsection would've been---with a red bowtie on it. It had long, tube-like arms with large screw-like hands. And it had a single pole as a leg with a wheel at the bottom.

"It looks like some kind of robot!" replied Pinkie Pie, "Hmm, looks like its broken. Don't worry, Dash! We'll get it to Twilight so she can fix it up!"

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie headed over to Twilight's lab, "Look what we found, Twilight!" said Rainbow Dash, Twilight turned away from the math problem she was solving, she was intrieged by the robot.

"Can you fix it for us?" said Pinkie Pie.

"Of course!" said Twilight, she grabbed the robot and set it on the table. she put on her goggles and gloves and got to work repairing it. Spike grabbed a sledgehammer and smashed an old PC, an alarm clock and a blender. So Twilight could use the pieces to repair the robot, by the time they were done, the robot was repaired.

Twilight turned the robot around and flipped a switch on the back, suddenly, the robots screen turned on to show a blue screen and a white face. It opened it's eyes.

"I'M ALIVE!" the robot said in a high-pitched, autotuned voice. It startled the girls.

"Hello! I'm Pinkie Pie, and this is Twilight and Rainbow Dash!" said Pinkie Pie, clearly not scared of this sentient robot. "Whats your name?"

"I'm Fandroid!" said the robot, "You saved my life!"

"Daw! It was nothing!" said Rainbow Dash.

"Well, we gotta get going! We have to get to band! Don't worry, Fandroid! Spike will hang out with you until we get back!" Twilight said, she and the others left the lab.

"Welcome to the family, Fandroid!" said Spike, he shook Fandroid's hand. "I'll get you something to eat!"

Spike left the lab to go get Fandroid some food, Fandroid went to the table and started drawing, he turned on the radio. Where Katy Perry's song "Firework" was playing on the station, as Fandroid listened to the song, he felt like something inside of him was changing, he felt like he had found his "spark". He couldn't contain it anymore, and he started singing.

"Baby, you're a firework!
Come on, let your colors burst!
Make 'em go, "Ah, ah, ah!"
You're gonna leave 'em all in awe, awe, awe!"
