request: Hellooooo☺️ Reader and Eddie crush on each other. Reader is pretty shy and Eddie makes a big "scene" like he uses to do (walking on table, speak loud,...) just to make her blush and asks her on a date maybe + date and "cute" Eddie?

The cafeteria was, as usual, bustling. Food and footballs were being thrown around from one side of the room to the other. You were sitting at one of the lesser populated tables with one of your closest friends, Robin, trying to listen to one of her endless stories.

Concentrating was hard, though. Not that you didn't want to listen to what your friend had to say. Her stories were, though confusing, highly amusing and entertaining. But, no, the lack of concentration on what she had to say was because of what you saw at a table across from yours.

Hellfire Club.

Just a couple of guys hanging out and eating their lunch, not bothering anyone and yet still managed to be the outcasts. Looking at them, you couldn't understand why some people would be afraid of them. The idea that their little board game was a gateway drug to satanism made you laugh out loud. It was ridiculous. Especially since you knew how they actually were.

Well, you didn't really know them, but you had spoken to Eddie, who was somewhat of a leader of the group, and he was far from the satanic cultist that everyone else had him written off as. He was kind, sweet, clever, and extremely funny.

Perhaps that's why you had developed such a big crush on him.

'So then Steve... you're not listening at all, are you?' Robin looked over at you, noticing how you had zoned out. But her words brought you back, and you tried to pretend to be a good friend by lying your ass off badly.

'What? No, I was! I just-'

'Can't stop staring at Munson? C'mon, you're basically drooling over your plate there, y/n.'

'I wasn't.' You tried to protest. You certainly had not been staring. Maybe you had looked his way a few times, but you did not stare. Definitely not.

'Sure, sure,' Robin chuckled, 'Just like he's not staring at you right now.' Hearing that, you immediately looked in his direction. Maybe if it had been another guy, he would have quickly looked away, pretended to not be caught in the act, but this was Eddie. He looked you dead in the eye as the corner of his lips turned upward in a smile. He waved to you, letting his ring-clad fingers dance in the air. That was enough for you to feel the heat rise through your cheeks.

Still smiling and still remaining eye contact with you, he leaned over to one of his friends. Too far for you to see what he was actually saying. But he nodded, and then Eddie got up from his chair. You watched him make his way across to you. With each step, you felt your heart beat faster. Harder. To the point, you were sure he could hear it as well.

Eddie chose the seat across from you at the table.

'Hi.' He said, and you were about to answer, but the people at the table behind you erupted in a fit of laughter, and it never quieted down after that. Eddie, however, persisted.

'I was wondering–' but you couldn't hear what he was wondering. People were too loud. Even though he was only about two feet away from you, you could only hear half the words he was saying. All you could do at that moment was give him an apologetic shrug and look sorry.

He looked annoyed, which scared you. You didn't want him to think you didn't want him there or that he was annoying you. But the conversation wasn't going well, definitely not as he must have had it planned out. And it only scared you more, when he took a deep frustrated breath, slammed his hand on the table and got up.
