I smile at the room given to me and thank the young maid that showed me the way. The third floor, restricted only for the Royal Pack, will be my home away from home for the next five days before we head to the next pack, my Uncles Pack in Vancouver British Columbia. I am excited the most for that visit. With a sigh of exhaustion from the long trip, I look around the room to the decent neutral furnishing. A double bed sits in the middle against a black accent wall, the remaining 3 a warm honey colour. A flat-screen is mounted to the wall directly in front of the end of my bed, making it easier to relax and binge whatever show I feel like while in Frost Pack's territory. Directly underneath the television is a simple dresser in a dark mahogany wood where I promptly pull my suitcase towards and begin to unpack the clothes I would be wearing these next five days into. Happy to be semi organized, I take out my laptop from my luggage, intending to read over past reports and the way they were handled while I wait for the welcome dinner, but a knock at my door causes me to sigh and put my plans on hold.
"Come in." I call out, turning to face the now opening door as my father enters with the Frost Moon Beta.
"Bella, I hope you don't mind but I told Malcom who you are. He already has a mate and he wanted to personally greet you." I frown at my fathers words and open our mind link.
[We made a deal dad.] I link, trying to keep the betrayal I feel in check.
[I know, but Malcom is the cousin to Alpha Damon and has a mate.] I sigh in resignation, turning my attention to Beta Malcom.
"I have one rule, no one else is to know about me being here as Princess Issabella. I am looking for my mate as well and do not want a power hungry man." I say before Beta Malcom can say anything.
"Understood. I am Malcom Frost and my mate who runs the training of she wolves is Ali Frost. She is always in the training room in the basement if you ever need a sparing partner." Beta Malcom states and I smile. I could really use a sparing partner.
"What if I wanted to kick your ass first?" I asked, eyeing the male and noticing the way he leans to the left. He most likely has a right knee injury and would be easy to take down.
"Well then pick a day and time and I would be happy to spare with a Royal. It would be an honor whether I win or loose." I can see the excitement of a challenge in the Beta's eyes and chuckle, holding my hand out to shake his and happy when he does. I could feel a bond forming upon contact, one I recognise as kin and the bond confuses me for a moment.
"You feel this too?" He asks, our hands still clasped.
"Yes, its weird." I answer, catching the confused look my father gives us.
[I'll explain later] I link my father.
[I Know, I am just worried.] He responds with. I nod, releasing my hand from Beta Malcom's as he proceeds to tell me the few areas I am allowed to enter as my identity will be hidden and so I have less privileges than my parents. I nod in understanding, happy to know that I could run in the woods and by the lake I saw on our way here at least as long as I have a Frost Moon wolf with me, Malcom stating his mate already volunteered to be my guide when needed for these five days. After this, Beta Malcom and my father take their leave and I quickly decide to head to the basement after changing from my sweater into a sports bra then grabbing my headphones and phone, I leave my room and finding the elevator at the end of the hall, clicking the button for training room.
