A few hours later
Spark and Echo arrived back at Ken and Bee's house. The blond sighed as he looked at Echo. "I want you to act casual and try to get along with everyone, okay?" Echo nodded as she exhaled and tried to calm herself. Spark opened the door and smiled.
"Hey everyone. I'm back!" he shouted as he walked inside, Echo trailing behind him. Most of the gang were in the living room, consisting of Bee, Ken, Shya, Levi, and someone new. Levi jumped up and went up to Spark, looking him over.
"You're back and living?" he asked, smiling. "Evelyn owes me 20 bucks..." he whispered to himself. Spark tilted his head as he noticed the whispering.
"What was that?" he asked.
"Nothing," Levi quickly responded.
"Where are the others?" Spark asked as he looked around for the other three. Evelyn, Connie, and Nessa were nowhere to be seen.
"They found a place and went to go move in," Levi responded, picking at his nails.
"Damn without me? I see how it is," Spark scoffed.
"Who's your friend?" Ken asked, getting up and walking over to the blond. Spark smiled as he looked over at her "Her name is Echo. I met her when I was over at Mako's place." While the 3 boys got caught up, Echo's eyes drifted over towards Bee, whose calm face was laced with an uneasiness. Spark looked over at the new guy and smiled.
"Shya, you didn't tell me your boyfriend was coming over," he said, walking over to Shya and her boyfriend, Micheal. He had a beanie on, a hoodie, and some jeans. Just the casual look. He was tuning his guitar while Shya looked up at Spark.
"Yeah. He came to visit not too long ago to show off his guitar skills. Although he's been quiet lately and has only been talking to Bee..." Spark looked at Micheal and shifted his look to Bee, who had been somewhat restless.
"I...I gotta talk to Bee," Spark said before walking over to the short girl. Bee looked up at him nervously and stood up.
"U-uh, Nice to see that you're okay..." Bee said, looking anywhere but directly at Spark.
"Yeah So, Bee, it seems like you know Echo, huh?" Spark asked, noticing her uneasiness.
"W-what? Nooo! I just met her right now!" she said, nervous laughter shakily coming out her mouth. Spark looked down at her as he tapped his foot against the floor. Ken noticed the tensions and looked over at the two, keeping an eye on them.
"I'm going to get straight to the point. I know what you're doing, Bee," Spark said. "I know who you're talking t-" he was cut off by a sudden gust of wind behind him. Spark turned around as Bee looked past him. Ken stood behind Spark, apparently catching an attempted strike from a guitar, Micheal's guitar. Ken grabbed the guitar and threw it aside, putting his forearm against Michael's throat and slamming him against the wall. Shya looked at the two in shock.
"What the hell are you guys doing?!" Spark smiled as he rubbed his neck.
"Well you see, I found out from a credible source that Bee over here has been working for the person who's been trying to kill me!" he shouted as Echo backed away.
"What? No! I would never rat you out like that!" Bee exclaimed, the look in her eyes showed that she was telling the truth.
"Then why were you getting so nervous?!" Spark exclaimed as Ken threw the guitar to the side and palm struck Michael in the chest. Michael fell back, being caught by Echo who stood there.
"Because I was having a panic attack!" she exclaimed as she was in fact recovering from said panic attack. She wiped the tears from her face and looked up at Spark. He turned to look back at Ken trying to hold Micheal down.
"So, if Bee was never the traitor, then-" He was cut off by a fist to the chin. He stumbled back a little before looking up at who threw the punch. Echo was smirking back at him.
"Jeez, You're so gullible. I knew you would buy the whole gimmick. I just needed to figure out where you were staying out and boom, found it!" she exclaimed as she chuckled. "At any minute, my partner will arrive and put all of this at an end!" She formed a ball of almost pure darkness and threw it aside as the miniature black hole started pulling everyone in the room towards it. Ken tried to keep his footing but was hit by bits of the broken guitar he threw aside earlier, causing him to lose his grip on Micheal. Micheal chuckled as he kicked Ken away and jumped back towards the black hole, getting sucked into the black hole. Echo walked into the black hole as it shrank. Spark growled in anger as he looked back at the others; Ken now holding onto Bee to keep her safe, Shya holding onto the back of the couch, and Levi holding onto the edge of the door.
"You guys stay here! I'll be back!" Spark shouted, letting go of the table he had been holding onto and jumping into the still shrinking blackhole. The blackhole closed in behind him, leaving the house in a mild state of disrepair. Shya looked around in confusion as she turned to Ken.
"What- What happened?" she questioned. Ken let go of Bee and looked down at her.
"This 'Echo' chick used her knowledge of Bee to get Spark against her and to kill him while he was distracted with your boyfriend. Luckily I caught on quickly," he said as he patted Bee's head to fix her hair. Bee pouted and looked away before realizing the lack of the confident blond in the room.
"W-wait, will Spark be okay? Like, is that a real black hole?" she asked as she looked around.
"H-he has to be okay. He's pretty strong-" Levi forced out, chuckling softly. "H-he has to-"
