"Diznae... That field is a destroyed rot. Why are we here?" asks a timid shy young boy who stood several inches under the person who was being spoken to in question who is leaning against a half-collapsed wall behind the boy as he is looking over the war-torn city as he had pulled off his gas mask and Reflective glasses and revealing his ash white hair that falls around his face.
"Ayleten, this city has a thriving underground population that is still alive." The figure laughs as they pull down their mask as well. The thick black rubber-like plastic that was originally encasing the small roundish face left a ghost of a red mark on the pale skin. Lips stained with black lipstick pulled together into a lazy smirk as they make eye contact with the boy. they reach up a hand and rake it through their loose long black hair that lands at just their shoulders. "Watch beyond, like you were taught" the voice was slightly sharp as they blink and when their eyes have reopened, they are a vibrant, dangerous green color as they looked over the city. They revealed many heat signatures under the structures. The boy seems to make the same motion and looked back out at the city leaving his goggles off. The other person put a thin figured hand on the boys' shoulders in a calm fashion as he looked through the city.

"Oh damn.." he muttered under his voice. "That is insane..." he says as he turns and looks up at the person again and they chuckle and pat him on the head with a black manicured hand as they slide their hand down his hair. They slide their hands back into the pockets of the long black trench coat they wore it hung just at their mid-calf as they walked. "Diznae!? Where are you going??" the boy stumbles shoving his mask and goggles back on as the person has the mask hanging around their neck still, they slide on a set of black visor-like glasses down over their eyes and taps the side of them, the slightly unhinged smirk still on their face.
"Oh, Ayleten... I am gonna find our mark so we can go home is all." they tip their head to the right cracking it several times in the one simple motion. They wore thick-soled boots that you could hear thump on the cement as the duo walked along. The boy stumbled and slid down the slope attempting to keep up with the tall figure.
"Sh-shouldn't you be wearing your mask?" he questions slightly hysterically. "They always told us to never take them off." he holds his mask closer to his face slightly. It was a military-grade respirator that he was wearing. That was what all the new trainees were given. The one that Diznae had was a more steampunk look to it. It didn't have the part that went over their eyes or anything like that.

"This area hasn't been bombed in several weeks. There are not enough lingering gasses to worry about for us." They looked over at the boy casually. "It is also supposed to keep us looking like normal individuals," with a smirk they state plainly "and you see I no longer care about that appearance." Diznae shrugs slightly as they walked looking around for the area that looked as if it had more traffic than the rest of the area.
"H- ho- how do you know there have been no bo-b-bombs??" he stutters pulling his mask off again and leaving it hanging around his neck.
"There is no smell of rot and dead for one thing." Diznae shrugs "I also read the reports for the area as well. I am assuming you did not at this point." They rolled their eyes as the boy starts to get a frightened look on his face. They catch the smell of a draft of cold air that came from the inside of a building. It was a rather warm day and Diznae quickly turned and raised an eyebrow. It was a large building. The structure was for the most part still intact minus a few bricks missing from the explosions rattling them loose. They smirked as they pulled their hands out of the jacket pockets and unbuttoned the front of the long overcoat they were wearing. Their eyes glow an eerie green color as they pull on a pair of black gloves over their thin fingers.

The boy hesitates in following them into the building seeming to glance around to see if it was going to collapse on them. "Diznae..." his voice is soft, and the figure seems to have missed that he was even talking.
"Stay top side if your uncomfortable boy." turning to glair back at him sharply realizing he had already pulled his gun at this point and was already looking like an awkward child with shaking hands on the handle of his weapon. "Cause if I get shot in the ass by you one more time, I am going to prove to you that it stings." they hold the glare, and the boy tumbles the gun slightly and ends up dropping it. In a blink of a second Diznae had appeared at his side and caught the gun and shoved it roughly back into its holster on his back being inches from his face. "DO NOT draw your weapon unless you have exhausted all other methods first," Diznae speaks sharply and clearly. "Now. Stay put boy." They growl as they turn around hair and coat spiraling around them as the wind from before catches both. Diznae hooks their hands in the straps that framed the front of their form in dark green leather. The slender frame that was now displayed given that the jacket was open, was wearing a black button-up shirt with a black tie and black slacks. If anyone looked at them it would be easy to assume that the individual was a man, the voice was in the mid-range which makes it hard to decern as well. They slide a hand up and rake it through the long black hair again as they walk deeper into the building and tip their head finding a large metal door being open and the source of the cool draft. The door opens into a downward slope that could only lead into the underground of the city that they were seeing before.

The mark in question that they were looking for was a resistance leader. The difference though is the factor that Diznae was not here to take a life. They were here to ask for the assistance of the resistance. Little did the boy on topside know. This was about to be the start of the uprising of the gifted and the humans banded together. Johanna would listen. She had to. After all, Diznae was this woman's sibling who was thought dead long ago.
