Chapter 8

Allison and Audrey is on my tail. Again.

This time, Peppi and Caleb are with me.

"Caleb-baby~! Come here!" Allison drawled as she rushed towards Caleb. Caleb rolled his eyes. 

While glaring at me, Allison drawed Caleb's to hers and kissed him.

At once, a flare of anger and jealousy brew within me. I had a sudden desire to strangle Allison.

Calm down, I told myself again. That's the reaction they want.

When they pulled apart, Caleb looked like he want to punch Allison and Allison is blushing so hard her face is smoking red.

"Jeez, get a room," Peppi stepped in.

"Aw, but I think I can make it clear that Caleb is my boyfriend," she said while glaring at the girls who were staring at Caleb with lovey-dovey eyes.

Allison glared at me the longest. Then, she slid her hands around Caleb's collar again.

Peppi was about to step towards them when Catherine rushed past us.

"NO! NO KISSING MY BROTHER!!!!" She yelled while pushing Allison away.

"Why do you care? I'm his girlfriend," Allison rolled her eyes. 

"NO! MY BROTHER WILL NOT DATE ANYBODYYYYYYYY!!!!!!" Catherine screamed.

"Cath, calm down..." Caleb started, but Catherine's patch of red started to glow bright red. Then, she proceed to take a dark red cannon twice the size of me and pointed towards Allison and Audrey, who was laughing. The wheels were flaming up. She then lit a match and lowered it to the tip of the cannon string.

"Do. Not. Kiss. Him. Or. I. Will. Fire." Catherine said, her voice quiet but firm. Me and Peppi took a step back. So the cannon is real.

"Ha-ha, like you will ever shoot me," Allison mocked, but I could hear the fear in her voice.

Without taking her eyes off Allison, Catherine took out ten medium explosives and shoved them into the cannon.

"These should cook you up well," She said with a smile.

"W-whatever, c'mon let's go," Allison mumbled as she pulled Audrey's arm.

"Catherine, we had this talk before. She is my girlfriend, whether you like it or not," Caleb crossed his arms. "A-also, where did you get those explosives?"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YOU WILL NOT MARRY ANYBODYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!" Catherine screamed. "Also, I hid those explosives away from you!"

"Catherine, we will talk about this at home," Caleb said. Then he turned to us. "Sorry if you had a scare, um... she is like this."

"Uh--- it's fine..." I stuttered. 

"Oh- and Nella, wait for me after school in the classroom okay?" Caleb said.

"Uh, why?" I blushed.

"Just... do it. It's kinda important. It's about your situation," He said.

Peppi whistled loudly.

I was kind of nervous.

I know it's not a date or anything, but still...

The school bell rung.

Peppi patted me on the shoulder and left. Catherine roller-skated behind her.
