Chapter 13: Lethal

ARIES

When Lyca walked in wearing the simple red dress that hugged her in all right curves, I simply had to look away. Not because she didn't look good, but because I had to hide the fact that I have in fact been smitten by her and her beauty.

Physically, Lyca is short, slender and beautiful. But ever since her wolves has started communicating with her and being more at peace than they were before they communicated with Lyca, she has grown taller. She's always been a jeans and shirt kind of girl. But she also loves dressing up during special occasions like birthdays. Just like tonight. She may have not worn any makeup, but her beauty has always been above others. Something she,s never acknowledged. Lyca is beautiful inside and out. She's beautiful through and through.

Lyca has always been the nice girl. Always respects other people and never takes advantage of her position or title as the Alpha daughter.

While other kids of Alphas act like they have the same authority as their fathers over other kids, Lyca was built different. She gets along with other people as if they are all her equal. Even when people started to make fun of her because of the absence of her wolf and being weaker, she never planned on getting even. She kept her feet on the ground. She never curse at anyone. Dimwit has been the worst insult she could ever throw to someone, and that someone has always been her brother.

There are only two times in my life that I have been surprised. And both times are because of Lyca.

The first time being the time that she kissed me, the second time tonight.

"Damn you and your rules!"

I couldn't help but blink at her for the words she just said. Her eyes have started to turn red. Not Eren's eyes but the sclera's of her eyes. Is it because of the alcohol?

"Bye!" she nonchalantly say and started walking away. I watch her as her feet wobbles on the ground.

"Lyca!" I took one step towards her, just in time to catch her before she falls.

She felt so light in my arms. I was about to lift her up when she suddenly stood on perfect balance, her eyes have turned into Eren's.

"Suncrest is under attack." Eren's voice was so deep and dangerous. Suddenly, the environment around Lyca has turned stiff and a strange form of air was coming from her, suffocating those who are too close. She has just summoned her Alpha aura. And she's drunk.

In an attempt to shake her out of her thoughts, I took a step towards her before anyone realises what was going on. They shouldn't know about her Alpha powers, not just yet. In a few moments, my parents and Luna Mia was dashing out of the packhouse in panic, letting everyone know that Suncrest is currently under attack.

Everyone got on their feet, ready to be sent to Suncrest when Lyca suddenly grabbed my arms. I too, was about to head to their pack.

"Lyca," I looked at her confused. Eren has left the surface and Lyca looked at me with a very worried look. "Your pack is under attack; we need to help them. Everyone is asleep and..." She cut me off.

"You're pack will be attacked once you all leave this place." I shuddered at her statement.

"Everyone, stop!" They all looked at her, her Alpha aura still has not subsided, everyone gasped in surprise. Now they know.

"Get to your own packs. The attackers are everywhere." She announced then turn to me. "Eren can smell blood thirst just about as far as the borders. Once everyone leaves including you and your parents, they will attack. But there's only less than 10 of them. There could be even less in Suncrest."
